1 of the greatest feuds over the years, if not the greatest, had to be The Crusher versus Mad Dog Vachon. Can anyone recall when Crusher slammed the dog's head into the table and he started squirting blood. That was awesome. So many memorable moments between those 2.

They became partners later on in a cage match against Ivan Koloff and Superstar Billy Graham. I think Mad Dog's image is hall of fame material. When he first gets in the ring and starts jumping up and down. As a kid, it was pretty scary.

Sometimes I flip by to get a good laugh on Monday nights. I used to be a hardcore fan in my teen years.

Anybody here old enough to remember Haystacks Calhoun taking on 6 midget wrestlers at one time on B&w tv?Saturday mornings were great,an hour of the stooges, then an hour of wrestling, then off to laurel or pimlico with my Dad for some horse racing.Carefree days and great memories so some 50 years later,I still laugh my ass off at the stooges, every once in awhile I'll watch a little wrestling and still get a kick out of it.If this makes me immature,I hopes the fuck I never grows up!

FYI....wrestling has been on for 60-70 years non stop,so there must be an awful lot of immature people out there.

I remember Haystacks Calhoun and he was a big big dude.

Little Beaver was the top midget wrestler I believe.

call me crazy, but when I see the posters who are fans versus those who are not I can kind of notice a difference in intelligence. Click on the red numbers so you can see who voted for what and tell me if you feel it too.

My gf's boy's used to like it but they're 10 and 13 now and they've seemed to have outgrown it.

Jman,

Don't listen to these clowns.... it's real if you think it's real.

Yeah, I like WWE and ECW.
Yeah, I know it's scripted, who cares?
It amuses me, the same way the Guiding Light amuses BillsGirl.
It's a diversion, plus that I have many years of ameteaur backround in wrestling in HS and NCAA, I can appreciate their efforts.

Hulk Hogan's body slam of Andre the Giant is a vivid childhood memory of mine. I don't know anything about post-Wrestlemania III wrestling though.

I do think that grown-up wrestling fans are a weird, maladjusted bunch, Comic Book Guy style.

Though, I'll admit that this picture brings a nostalgic smile to my face. This was my Ali-Frazier (I'm 28, was 8 back then):
