Are the SEAHAWKS really going to be 0-2 after Wilson's big contract?

The Seahawks are going to get their asses handed to them Sunday night at Lambeau. Book it.
I think Wilson still has a good game coming home. GB didn't look that good against the run last week.

How about the NYG's record after Eli's new contract?

and he actually cost his team the game, with his words and his play

I remember Ryan Leaf starting off 2-0 and Peyton Manning starting off 0-2...............Believe it or not, there were many people at the time saying see, Leaf is better (basing their opinion off 2 games)..................So yeah, too early to tell anything about the Rookie QB's

Of course they can be fine and of course they are a good team, but when you start 0-2 (as crazy it sounds) you are all of a sudden up against it.

0-2 start

10-4 finish

10-6 record

A 10-6 record for the Seahawks, for their standard, would be very mediocre. However, going 10-4 over a 14 game period, even for the elite teams, is a very hard task. If they lose to GB (and I believe they will), I think they'll finish the year 10-6. And there is a very real chance they go 9-7 if they start 0-2. [A 9-5 finish is extremely good.... but that only translates to 9-7 overall]

At least the Bucs and Titans are doing it right. Get the guy out there. Peyton got the shit kicked out of him his rookie year and in his 2nd season, went 13-3.

10-4 would be worse than expected, so if you're going to beg the question like that it's an easy argument to win

they may go 0-2, which I expect, and then finish 14-2 or 12-4

there is one thing that's certain about an 0-2 start, they would be 3 games behind GB for the home field advantage

0-2 on the way.

But after seeing this game, they're too solid a team to not win lots of games.

Should be 10-6 finish, maybe 11-5 if they get lucky. On the road in the playoffs.

Anyone who knocks Russell Wilson doesn't know shit. The guy just flat out wins and many times carries his team like tonight when the Beast didn't do shit. He has been a winner since he's been in league is worth every penny he's paid. Don't forget Jay Cutler is making the same amount RW is.

Jay Cutler sucks. No doubt.

If Wilson had been drafted by the Redskins instead of by Pete, would you say the same thing? Nope.

Without Pete, the Seahawks would be nothing.

Definition of system qb with good defense that "flat out wins" is Russel Wilson. But here is the problem. Fake dynasty is over. You had it for 2 years. Now you have 6 defensive players that think they are all the best guy on the team. This is why long term success can not be made by defense especially with the rules as they are. If they pay Chancellor, everyone will want restructured deals. And what leverage does he have anyway? He has 3 years remaining on a contract and now because he wants more money is missing close to 300K every single week and if he holds his ground, who will want him after taking years off. He has 0 leverage even if the Seahawks start 0-6. I wouldn't pay him either. I wouldn't even talk to his agent. No one will even know his name in 2 years.
