Giants and Browns kinda screwed with those contracts. Just like Russell Wilson. I like when guys like Walker find some success. Would rather he be the starter anyways. Jones I might give another year even though I doubt he is any good. But young enough it is worth it since Taylor isn't winning anything anyways. But those contracts for all 3....ouch if you wanna move on.
How could I forget Russell Wilson?

Every team is flawed

Dolphins can win the division and will have a shot to go far
That's my entire point. They might win the division and will likely make the playoffs but they won't be a serious threat to win it all.

Just my opinion of course, maybe I will be proven wrong.

Are the Lions overrated?
Expectations are a lot higher.
Took a woodshed beating yesterday.

Yes. They are good but look at who they beat and who are the QBs for those teams(Ridder, Love, Bryce Young, Mayfield). They did beat KC and Mahomes but they were without Kelce and Chris Jones. Expectations should certainly be tempered.

But if every team is flawed, wouldn't they still be a viable threat by default?

They can beat any team if they are clicking and healthy, but that's a big if

Big picture in the AFC I think they're behind KC, Baltimore, and Cincy once they get fully going

We'll see. That was a humbling game for them for sure, but they are still a good, well-rounded team

Wouldn't shock me at all if Baltimore struggles to win at Arizona and Detroit pounds Las Vegas at home next week

This is the NFL after all

Agree that every team has flaws but I feel like the Miami offense is a gimmick against better teams. I do not see them beating 2-3 in a row in the playoffs and getting through that AFC gauntlet when they have not shown that they can beat anyone besides pushovers.

One other thing, Tua is a tap on the head away from being out for the season, maybe having to retire. He has still not proven that he can stay on the field for any length of time going back to the Alabama days.

Good point about health. That’s a concern for all teams but especially these guys.

I dunno. I think they kinda match up well with the Chiefs.

The rest of the AFC is kinda meh despite the hype.

-Bills are kind of a mess injury wise and just generally disappointing in the playoffs; never know what you’re gonna get from them really

-Jags are getting better but think Lawrence has been underwhelming and their defense is just decent IMO

-Ravens seem to be doing Ravens things. They’re gonna look awesome for a while then Lamar probably gets hurt and season may spiral

-Bengals I obviously have a soft spot for, but they dug a mini hole and think they’re a little weaker this year. Not enough RB depth, OLine isn’t much improved, basically no TE

Who knows? They're a solid team.

O-line is EXCEEDING expectations
Tua (when healthy) is looking very good
Defense hasnt been that great. Another problem is that they have a quick strike offense so they'll be on the field alot.
They have wins over the giants, broncos, and panthers at home. In all of those games, the weather affected the visiting teams in the 2nd half (usually does in Sep/Oct)

The major key for this team is to stay healthy and have a little bit of luck (we could say that for 90% of the league).

Jalen Ramsey will be back in November and December. Achane will be back in November. They arent rushing people to come back from injuries so soon. They want to be the last team standing in February. I dont think they care if they are a 1 seed or a 7 seed. They just want to be healthy going into the playoffs (of course a bye and home playoff games would be nice).

Of course i'm rooting for them to win on Sunday but its not the end of the world if they dont. Also not the end of the world if they get blown out either. That way, the media wont hype em so much as they did after they scored 70 on them and Buffalo took em out the next week.
Just wanted to bump what i had written 5 days ago.

Keep in mind that they are playing with a backup Left tackle and a backup center. Their Left guard also went down in the 2nd quarter.

I also still cant figure out how Wilkins gets flagged 15 yards for roughing the passer and that Wilson's helmet got turned the other way and didnt get a call??

Agree with you. Tua was 5-10 with pressure with a QB rating of 16.2 yesterday. LT Armstead on IR, G Wynn hurt yesterday. I know I keep pounding this point but Tua is not going to run or extend plays. He's a product of Hill and the system.

''This is the point where some of the devoted Power Rankings commenters can (and probably will) say, “We told you so.” The five teams Miami has beaten are a combined 8-25. None of them is even within two games of .500. Yes, Miami’s offensive line injuries are piling up, but the two winning teams the Dolphins have played have beaten them by an average of 21 points. We may not have an answer to this question for a while. They play only one team with a winning record (the Chiefs) between now and their game against the Cowboys on Christmas Eve.''

Not worth a thread bump

Played a 50/50 game with the champs on a neutral field

Dolphins are the best team in their division

They aren’t overrated lol

They got stomped early 21-0 and Chiefs do what they always do....let teams back in the game.
Kinda never really contested.
Just another get a big lead play like you wanna get out of there with a win game.
Typical NFL.
If the Bills beat the Bungholes will you still say Dolphins are the best?
I'm not huge on the Bills but I think they are better and proven more than Charminphins.
