Allen def proved me wrong to this point. I still don’t think he is very good. Didn’t have to do much yesterday and when Daboll leaves in offseason so will most of the offense. Diggs is team mvp. Other afc East teams will be in good shape when bills give him long term cap crippling deal.

If Mahomes is out next week, Bills backers loving life.

Terrible attempt at saving grace, but it’s all good I guess...

I think they are 4th. Just don’t think they run or stop the run well enough. I know they did last night, but the weather has some to do with it, and so did Jackson.
just held the best running team in nfl to 3 points

Not really
Brady may have GOAT status but there is no doubt at this moment Allen is better

Allen’s had the better year for sure. But I’d rather have current Brady in this spot. Allen looks like a promising player, but it’s too early to make any definitive judgments about how great he can be.

I am optimistic about Allen though. I was high on him in that draft — thought he was a perfect fit for going to a cold city like Buffalo. I also think Buffalo is arguably the best run organization in the league right now

All that said, I would rather have Brady in this spot. Proven, experienced, and playing at an elite level as of late. I think Allen is way more risky here.

The original post I refuted was that Allen was the best QB in the NFL. You gotta play well for much longer than he has to get that title

I disagree
Brady just has a better defense and running game
Probably why you think that
Allen will likely have ro do much more than Brady to win

Not really true. Bucs have a lot of inexperienced talent and have been inconsistent all year with the run game. Their rushing defense has been great, but the secondary is pretty bad. Brady has been excellent the last couple months.

And if you felt this way, why are you giving the Bucs a 0% chance to win?

Also Brady basically owns the three remaining teams

The Bills were Brady’s punching bags for a couple of decades.

Brady beat Mahomes and the Chiefs twice in that 2018 run. Probably prevented a Mahomes from having two rings by now

The Pats and Packers haven’t had much overlap, but Brady absolutely owns Rodgers from a historical perspective.

Because Brady is not the same QB

They've only met 3x and Brady is 2-1. I wouldn't call that ownership.

Owns him because of 6 rings to 1. Owns him because he hasn't crumbled in the playoffs the way Rodgers has

Of course he isn't, but he's still been great -- especially since that loss to NO.

And none of the QBs playing have touched what Brady used to be.

It's not really a knock on Allen to say he's probably the last QB I'd take of the remaining QBs on this stage. He's going against some damn good competition.

When it comes to accolades yes but it's a team game. Rodgers hasn't crumbled entirely by himself. He's needed the supporting cast and coach. Let's face facts Mc Carthy's best days are long gone. He's archaic. Also if Brady had remained with New England that team is shit now. No way he can put the stats up he did this year with Tampa. He'd be playing golf already.
