False unless you have residency in Canada.

You can withdraw funds from a USD$ NETeller account, but the funds must be deposited to a CAD$ bank account. We cannot deposit from NETeller into a USD$ Canadian account.

Eveyone in the world is business as usually.
Nettler is afraid what the feds will do next maybelock up your EFI .They are moving slowly but carefully to not cause anymore problem .It is causing a lot concern in the offshore businees .I hope it will be resolved shortly. So we can move on and the books can adjust to the problem and straight it out Which what they will do .
Be careful of the weaker books after Super Bowl The stronger will survive .It might be the best for the business.

I'm not sure what the 'residency in Canada' part means in your post, and maybe you misunderstood what I wrote, but here's the relevant portion from NETeller's updates page:

Does this change affect non-US members?
Yes. NETELLER is currently unable to transact with USD bank accounts, regardless of the location of the member. Please contact us to learn more.

Can you confirm that an american with a usd account can open a canadian account and eft to it from neteller in canadian or euros? Also, they charge 1.9%....what would the bank charge to switch it to usd?

Also curious about this. Do American banks charge you to convert a certified check drawn on CAD into USD?

No problem for me.

Love the U.S. and all the sports that they offer but I couldn't live there.

My NETeller EFTs are completing at the same pace as normal - approximately 3 business days. Most recent one was requested Jan 19 and received Jan 23.

My NT account is in US$, and linked to a bank account in Canada that is in Canadian dollars. NETeller steadfastly has always refused to allow me to link it to a bank account in Canada that is held in US$. As a result, I have had to eat a lot of currency exchange fees (about 2% on each transaction). Currently, NETeller exchanges at a rate of between 1.15 and 1.16 for US to Cdn dollars (I think the last one I did was 1.1586).

They send the funds to the bank in Canadian dollars, so the bank doesn't charge anything. I have always found the cheque service to be very slow and stopped doing anything but EFTs years ago.
