Zuckerberg agreed with Apple and Gates opinion wasn't that the gov't should just have a backdoor to all products. He was of the opinion that Apple has the info, which is debatable, but probably true. Let's not kid ourselves and pretend there is no PR in this for them.

Gates is a #1 competitor to apple so don't kid yourself there either. I stand with Apple as a matter of principle and you should too.

In the end, I do stand with the private companies. Simply put, their being ordered to design and build based on a government demand. That would make them a sub-contractor.
