I responded out of respect to you. Normally I wouldn't respond in a thread started by the vile individual who started it, with the racial bait title he labelled it with, designed to get racial hatred stirred up. Perhaps Vit and Aki have similar feelings? If it was started by a sane individual, with a desire to talk about the problems of sanctuary cities, and pointing out another instance of insane gun violence, it might have elicited response by us?

What is your suggestion to stop "gun violence" like this? I mean the guy used a Federal Agent's gun, there's no gun law you could come up with that would have prevented this.

Another class act.

Jeh Johnson, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, appeared not to know the identity of the woman murdered in San Francisco earlier this month by an illegal alien who had been deported numerous times.

Johnson was asked in a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday about the July 1 murder of Kathryn Steinle. The 32-year-old, who went by the name Kate, was shot in broad daylight by Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a 45-year-old illegal alien with seven felonies and five deportations on his record.

Asked about Steinle, Johnson mispronounced her name.

Later during his testimony, Johnson was again asked about Steinle and her family, which has been heavily critical of sanctuary cities since her murder.

“Has the administration reached out to the Steinle family, to your knowledge?” Ohio U.S. Rep. Steve Chabot asked.

“To who?” a perplexed Johnson asked.

“To the family of the woman who brutally murdered by this individual who had committed seven different felonies in four different states and my understanding had been deported, kept coming back, has the administration reached out to that family?” Chabot said.

“I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer to that question sir,” Johnson responded.

Kate who?

[h=1]OBAMA SILENT ON KATE STEINLE’S DEATH, BUT SPOKE ABOUT MICHAEL BROWN WITHIN 3 DAYS[/h]

[h=2]Roughly 15 days ago Kathryn Steinle was shot and killed, allegedly by illegal immigrant Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez. He chose to stay in San Francisco specifically because it was a sanctuary city – protecting him as an illegal immigrant from federal Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.[/h]Under the liberal policies of sanctuary cities, city officials do not have to turn over illegal immigrants to ICE. This was the case with Lopez-Sanchez, because ICE officials had requested that San Francisco police let ICE know when Lopez-Sanchez would be released so that ICE would be able to take him into federal custody, but San Francisco refused to notify the federal officials.
President Obama has said nothing about Steinle’s death – even after her parents have proposed Kate’s law and appeared on national television to discuss the death of their daughter and the legislation.
The Washington Post’s Mark Thiessen noted Obama may not be rushing to comment on Steinle’s death because it “would require him to confront the fact that his administration has been releasing tens of thousands of dangerous undocumented immigrants with criminal convictions into our communities — including many who have gone on to commit murder.”
For example, Thiessen pointed out that in 2013, the Obama administration released roughly 36,007 illegal immigrants who all had criminal convictions — 1,000 of those individuals were then convicted of different crimes following their release.
In 2014, the Obama administration released roughly 30,558 illegal immigrants.
“According to the House Judiciary Committee, only 8 percent of those were due to the Supreme Court’s decision in Zadvydas v. Davis, which requires that undocumented immigrants be released after 180 days if their home countries won’t take them back. The other 92 percent were released because of Obama’s policies,” Thiessen stated.
However, Obama has been quick to react to the shooting deaths of African American men.
For example, the recent death of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, Maryland – which sparked violent riots against police – occurred on April 12, 2015. It was 17 days later that Obama publicly addressed the young man’s death.
On August 9, 2014, Michael Brown was shot and killed in Ferguson, Missouri, sparking violent riots – but just three days later, Obama spoke about Brown’s death:
The death of Michael Brown is heartbreaking, and Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and his community at this very difficult time. As Attorney General Holder has indicated, the Department of Justice is investigating the situation along with local officials, and they will continue to direct resources to the case as needed. I know the events of the past few days have prompted strong passions, but as details unfold, I urge everyone in Ferguson, Missouri, and across the country, to remember this young man through reflection and understanding. We should comfort each other and talk with one another in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds. Along with our prayers, that’s what Michael and his family, and our broader American community, deserve.
Obama also sent Administration officials to Brown’s funeral.
A grand jury later found Brown was the aggressor toward a police officer who shot Brown in self-defense.
Regarding the death of Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012, Obama said he believed the shooting of Martin by George Zimmerman should be investigated. He made his remarks 25 days after the death on March 23, 2012 when Obama told reporters, “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”
Thiessen argues what is different between Steinle’s death in comparison to the deaths of Martin, Gray and Brown is that Obama has no political policy talking points.
“After Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown and Freddie Gray were killed, Obama had liberal public policy points he wanted to make — about gun control, “stand your ground” laws, racial profiling and police bias. In the Steinle case, there are no issues Obama wants to highlight — because his administration supports the policies that led to her death,” Thiessen argues.

[h=1]OBAMA WRITES PERSONAL LETTERS TO 46 FELONS; NO CONTACT WITH KATHRYN STEINLE’S FAMILY[/h]

[h=2]Nearly two weeks after 32-year-old Kathryn Steinle was murdered on San Francisco’s Pier 14 by an illegal alien and convicted felon who was released from prison earlier this year, President Barack Obama has failed to contact the victim’s family or mention her in public. Yet Obama took the time to write (and release) 46 personal letters this month to felons imprisoned for non-violent drug offenses whose sentences he has commuted.[/h]Like the 46 felons to whom Obama wrote, Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez had served time for non-violent offenses, some of them drug-related. After his arrest, Lopez-Sanchez, who had been deported five times to Mexico, confessed to shooting Steinle as she walked with her family at the popular tourist spot.
Steinle’s murder quickly became an iconic example of violent crime by illegal aliens released from custody under the “sanctuary city” policies embraced by San Francisco and other liberal cities that decline to work with federal immigration officials.
Critics have noted that Obama was quick to reach out to the family of Michael Brown, who was killed while charging a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri last year, enhancing Brown’s heroic status to drive a political narrative. He has done the same in other, similar cases.

Now of course no one is going to imply that it would be racially motivated not to reach out to a white family as opposed to the others he reached out to. Maybe if she had robbed a convenience store he might have communicated properly. What a hypocrite.

Of course. Since it's meaningful to you the racial makeup of the 46, here's your assignment mr dot connector. Connect the dots on the racial breakdown of the 46, since it seems to matters so much to you. The World breathlessly awaits. http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-...nces-commutations-for-46-nonviolent-offenders

Not referring to the racial breakdown of the 46, no matter to me. Only thing that matters is that he did not reach out to a white woman who was killed and reached out to 3 blacks who were murdered and had police records. Can you connect that dot dumb ass. Could care lately about the 46 that dot is yours to connect. Can you justify the fact that he did not reach out to console her parents and family, hell no. I now know why you cannot connect dots. You would not know one if you saw it. lol

What part of convicted criminal don’t you understand. Race has nothing to due with it. Maybe if Kate Steinle had been dealing drugs instead of walking with her father when she was gunned down Obama would have shown some compassion.

What is in question is why Obama goes out of his way to sympathize when a black man is killed by a white man yet he doesn’t give two shits when black men kill other black men, women and children over drugs.

He hates white people, be barely tolerates black people and only because they vote for him. The race he really loves are brown people, whether they come from the Middle East or South America.

And it helps if you’re a Muslim. If you’re a Christian or a Jew, forget about it. It will be interesting to see what he does with his life when he leaves the White House. I think he has his eye on head of the U.N. where he can impose his ideology on the world.

What is really funny is that it never even occured to me to see what the racial breakdown on the 46 was. Ony a tard like Guesser would try to milk that on a racial basis. Shows where he is coming from (as if we did not already know right). Not to reach out to Kate's family and to send someone from the WH to attend the funeral is as low and political as you can go. Oh well he kissed Iran's ass. Obama would not know a priority if it hit him in the face. And he did not even attempt to get American hostages released as part of the deal but traded high ranking enemies for a deserter. Obama has played Monolopy in DC for all this time and has still not passed GO.
