Not really. I think the site is just slowly dying because of a litany of bad decisions and they figured let this clown do the work of the mods because they can't pay more of them and it made their jobs easier. So he started posting news, pictures non-stop and it just made them have to do less. Then he started fighting with posters and they probably figured whatever, he'll stop.
They just underestimated the fact he was a fucking loon. I thought he might finally get jettisoned when SBR bought the place (not knowing much about SBR) but seems like they're just as oblivious to how toxic he is. It is pretty weird.
