Here are few observations. I think the woman in the hospital is Juliettes sister for sure. I studied (yes, i have no life) the closeups of the screenshot and i am 99% sure that is Robin Weigert (who played Juliette's sister) in the bed. It would explain why no one showed up at the funeral (if it is juliette in there) as the only family she had was her sister and the boy.
I also read that "Hoffs Drawlar" (The name on the funeral home)is an anagram for "Forward Flash". So i think Desmond sees what happens and next year will focus on him trying to stop these new "others" . I never really get into shows like this but this show is like crack. Too damn addicting. It leaves you with more answers then questions.:think2:

OK this is what I know or question about the dead person

1. The person in the casket was a man and had a J in the name

2. Now we are left with Locke, James Ford (sawyer) and hmmm curveball Jacob?

3. Also the death must have been tragic being that it was in an LA paper and took place in NY (this was also noticed in the article)

4. You would think Kate is getting back to sawyer which leaves locke as my choice.

I havent watched the show in awhile but i saw on one of the tv talk shows, charlie getting interviewed and they were talking about him being done on the show and what hes gonna start working on now. so thats probably who died.

No chance it's Charlie, he has a brother and Claire who would come to a viewing. NOBODY came to this person's funeral, remember

Charlie IS dead! It's apparent in the finale that he drowned in full view of Desmond who will no doubt report that to the survivors. So it wouldn't be "news" to Jack in this future flash forward ....
