I had an issue one day.. Called Frank Pepe's to order a couple of authentic Napoletana Pies including my favorite, fresh whole belly clams with extra clams.
Called at 2:00 for 5:00, she told me I had to call back at 4:00
Called at 4:00, a recorded message said I had to order on line. Problem is you can't make a special order on line, has to be conforming. After about 20 minutes, sent them an e-mail and ordered from Millstone Pizza in Thomaston which turned out to be really good.
Within minutes, Pepe's called me but it was too late. They tried to offer me free pizzas for next time around, I told them that's not necessary and I'll be back.
At least I have the manager's cell phone number now
