Get a Toyota Tercel or a Nissan Sentra, both are good on gas and reliable and fit your budget nicely

if the car was recently brought from the US get the vin number (its a long number not sure how many characters, it has letters as well) and run it through carfax.com

it costs 15 bucks......but you will know what history the car had (if it was totalled........or other sort of nasty stuff)

well worth it to avoid surprises

Get a Hyundai Elantra or Excel. You can get a new motor for 150,000 colones. Sometimes its just cheaper to get a new motor than fix the problem with these cars. These cars get awesome gas mileage and you can fill the tank for 20,000 colones and get around town for 2 weeks. You also cannot beat the fact you can get a part for your car on any street corner and almost for free.

Just please make sure you do not TRY to make your car look like something out of the movie Fast and Furious because no matter how hard you try its gonna look like shit and..... Its a HYUNDAI!

Too fucking funny, thats a great name.

Would be a good business...have a bunch of hotties on the show, you would have the next " a todo dar".

Problem is, people would probably get their car stolen the next day.

This happened to my brother in Miami. He went and had all this new stuff installed in his new but used Nissan and he complained a little to the shop he had doing all the work saying he was not happy with the work and pointed out several things he did not like. Finally picked the car up and went home.

Next day walked out to his the parking space in his apartments................. Car was gone!! When they did find it it was missing all the new shit he had installed. Found the car behind a Target not too far from his house.

Driving around San Jose for several years, I've developed a pure unrefined hatred for hyundai sedans. I would never drive one, however irrational that may be.

This is so true  I had to get something for my wife and all these kids they were driving me nuts all the time. I could not believe the amount of money I began to spend on taxis and buses and the amount of work it was just to get something done.

Now I am looking at a Rice Rocket. The only problem is the old owner got in an accident and died ON THE SAME BIKE. Its really cheap because they just want to get it out of their garage and the only damage is the bike has a small dent on the gas tank, but I just wonder if the damn thing is going to be haunted and am I being immoral.

We can BBQ anytime you want. I am not to far from you SVT so feel free to come or give me a call at 866-7463 anytime you want and we will throw down on some Costa Rican Cow (Horse).

you hate them because they are fearless and excellent drivers and they make you work twice as hard to

a) do not destroy their 'car' while they run the light and at the same time
b) do not scratch your car while doing a

those who have nothing to lose are the most dangerous of us all LOL

if money was not an issue (or my fear of getting a shotgun pointed to my head to take it was a non issue ........or destroying it in the potholes was also a non issue...) I would love to have a

pontiac 407........drove one a while ago......it was hard to go back to my old trusty toyota

or

toyota prius (not because of the ecological part but because their displays on the inside look like something out of star trek)
since either one go for about 33k USD..........not likely to drive either one until I hit the lottery

I had a Galloper that was OK. I mean its a Hyundai and the components eventually began to give out little by little. It was a Turbo Diesel and the Turbo went out on me and it was 500,000 colones to fix. Thats when I sold it and moved on. I don´t really like the Tiburon that much just because Hyundai sucks for racing and its just all body and I have seen them after about 5 years and its just a cool shape that sounds like shit. Now I am back in a Hyundai Excel. Man my life is a roller coaster.........But I wouldn´t change it for the world!!!!
