I really like Cink as a very slight underdog in round one. Weir is not going to beat him. I can get +100 right now, but I think it will get better.

Couples is playing great golf and he is going against O'hair and I was considering laying alot of chalk but, will have to wait until I get some other takes from some of the better golf cappers I talk to.

I like Verplank to beat Westwood at about an even matchup

I like a couple others but need a little more time. I think we may find a lot more value in the later rounds.

2 plays that look good are APPLEBY -135 (very consistent who doesnt make many mistakes) over LEHMAN, who has seen better days, and Bart Bryant -140, over J. Daly who's mind and shots have been all over the map as of late. Im taking a shot with FURYK to win it all as his bracket is manageable and his game is rounding into form at the right time.

my 4 plays for the 1st round:

Cink to beat Weir

Jimenez to beat Sabbatiini

Leonard to beat Crane

Monte to beat Fasth

Find the best odds you can...... the first two are dogs while the second two are slight favorites.

I think those are two good matchups, but perhaps not much value. Appleby is very consistent but that does not make him a guarenteed good match play player. He actually has not done well at this tourney. And Lehmen has steped his game up a little bit. Either way I see both of them losing in the next round.

Bart Bryant -140................. he is young and smacks the ball almost as far as Daily. Daily is actually playing very well. I think -140 is a little too much juice for these two. I actually have Daily winning this first round matchup, but again either way both will lose to Phil in round 2.

GOOD LUCK MAN, THIS TOURNEY IS FUN FOR SURE!

Tommorow is the WGC-Accenture Play and my friend and I have put together a great parlay. This is the third year we have done this, and we are 1-1. The first year we got greedy and went for a 6 match parlay and missed it by 1 match. Last year we won a 5 match parlay. This year we cut it down to 4 matches but we wagered twice as much.

Lets smash the books on this one tommorow

Bryant isn't young at all and he doesn't hit it far at all. Not sure what you are talking about here bud.

you are very correct, the past two days for some reason I have been thinking that Daly is playing Bubba Watson. Thankyou for correcting me, I appreciate it. Not sure what I am thinking, some connection in the name. guess it is the stoner in me.......haha I still have Daly going through. Thanks again.

Earlybird plays

2* C. Petterson(EV)@betonsports
9-3 angle on this one. K. Perry has been hit or miss this year so far. Perry hasn't broken 70 in the first round this year. He's been struggling with his putter and he won't have time to figure it out today. In 5 starts this year Petterson has grinded out and made all 5 cuts. With the edge in stats, I think he moves on.
2* S. Appleby(-129)@pinny
The angles on this one are pretty close but I give the edge to Appleby in this matchup for this reason: Need to win the 1st round only. Appleby has 4 starts with 66&68 low first rounds. Lehman's avg. 1st round is 72. No time to catch up, this is single elimination. Appleby is also on a 10 consecutive cut streak vs. Lehman's 2. L2 yrs. Appleby has made it to the 2nd round. I think he keeps it going.
3* C. DiMarco(-150)@betonsports
Statistically the edge goes to Calc., but DiMarco's edges come where it counts: GIR, scoring, putts/rd. Calc. hasn't missed a cut ty with DiMarco missing at the Nissan. Out of 3 starts he has a 15th, 14th finish. This is Calc's first year playing this course, but DiMarco knows this track well. The last 2 years he's finished 9th and 2nd LY. DiMarco rises to the occasion for matchplay, and he'll advance this round.
3* Davis LoveIII(-150)@betjamaica
Davis is a serious matchplay competitor. He takes the week off prior to this event to be ready to kick some ass. In the last 3 years he's passed the first round without hinderance. In '04 he had a runner up finish to Woods, and a 9th place LY. His opponent has 1 start TY where he placed 68th with a 74 in round 1. Hensby has played this tourney once in the L3 years.
5* Chad Campbell(-155)@betjamaica
12-2 angle. We need fast movers in round 1. Chad Campbell has shot over 67 twice in his last 5 starts, and a low round of 63!! He already has one win and one 2nd place finish. He is 2nd in money this year with 1.4 million. Herron on the other hand has 3 starts and $60k. Herrons low first round is 69. Campbell has 2 back to back 9th place finishes in this tourney while Herron has been eliminated back to back starts. I think Herron leaves today with $35,000 as a nice parting gift. That should put his season earnings just over 100 grand this year.
