In debt, after we built our house, my wife said we should move into a better house in a better hood'. We bought another house and put our house up for sale at the same time. Market went to hell, and we were stuck with 2 house payments for over a year. We lost about $65,000 between making 2 payments and what we had to settle for to dump a brand new house we built.
Then the credit cards, my son was diagnosed with autism, and we are trying to recover him with biomedical treatments, we both work full time and have insurance, but autism is not covered. We pay for therapies and suppliments out of pocket, thus the CC debt.
Picked up a second job, just to pay CC's and should have everything 'in line' in a couple of months. Work 18 hour days sometime but anybody would to 'recover' their kid. All good, we are still young enough to make it all work, just had to put gambling in the past for a while. I guess no new car for my bookie this year.
