That’s tough man. You have probably dealt with countless bouts of verbal abuse. Hopefully it hasn’t caused you to question yourself too much, as that shit can often do. I actually work in mental health. If you ever have any concerns or anything feel free to message me. BPD is probably the most difficult Dx to deal with, meds usually needed to see benefit. I stopped watching the news in May and have been listening to Christian pop, plus replaced the news with Daily Mass, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Christine Caine, and John Gray.
Has helped through the tough times.
