Anyone Going to Watch Generation Kill on HBO Tonight?

I was a huge Wire fan and i see generation Kill is from the same team.

Is it of the same Quality as the Wire?

any sort of resemblance in the shows?

I don't know if they have a new director for each episode of Generation Kill, but did anybody notice that a woman directed the second episode? Kind of unusual with an all male cast in a show about war.

Little bit disappointed here..Was expecting more roadside bombs, sniper kills, friendly fire deaths etc..drags a little bit at times..definately worth watching but our boys are getting killed over there every day..So far no casulties in the main platoon or company..

They may be trying to be too realistic..

Lotsa good shit though..Like you cannot believe a fucken thing you hear on the news..lots of shit made up and what really happens swept under the rug..

Lotsa ass holes leading our troops too..they got that covered though

totally forgot to watch this evening...I will have to catch it on demand soon...I have really liked the first episodes so far

I agree with what someone said earlier that it seemed like someone from the main cast would die sooner or later (maybe they did tonight, I didnt watch it)

I am interested to see how they close the series in the next few weeks
