I think a better question is......

Farmers? Oncologists?

Teachers should be paid more(performance based) and given more discipline authority (not spanking)

Have several family members who are/were teachers and no way I’d want their job

I agree I was in education in college and didn't like what I was seeing in practicums ...etc.... so elected to switch programs

My county stopped this week as this was a 2.5 day school week anyway. Next week is spring break.

For the week of the 30th, i think the kids go virutal.

This week in broward country florida is a FREE week for teachers. For those who bitch about their raises and stuff, they are getting paid for watching netflix this week

But if they aren't teaching but scheduled to teach, they will have to make it up at the end of the year. So, it's free now but it will have to get made up.

My business of real estate development hasn't seen any signs except some of the capital is tightening up.

For once we are not the first to take it on the chin. I told my staff today we will know the effects probably 60 days from now. I haven't had any contracts canceled and the supply chain seems to be healthy. Some of our retail partners have ask for a 60 day extension on closing which seems understandable.

If the real estate chips start to fall it could get bad.....but as of today everyone seemed optimistic that a 30 day period could be the tell-tell.

I do believe 100% that when these blows over the economy will roar back in growth's we haven't seen before. That has been a consistent theme. The supply and pent up demand will continue to grow.

I'm a pee-on for a fortune 100 company. We started testing our remote servers 2 weeks ago to make sure they could handle the extra load. First made it mandatory for everyone in the company (at least my department) to log in and work from home for 15 minutes at around the same time. Then had half of us working for home for a full day. Now it's work from home if you can. They're even shipping me a monitor and docking station. As much as i hate my job i've been pretty impressed with how they have handled this.

u sure? We aren’t making up school here. Rumor has it teachers are going virtual on March 30. However there will be no standardized testing and no grades
