I hope they do go a bit to the right now the basics are sorted.

You can't let people languish in lefty la-la land forever.

A bit of right wing innovation, risk and outright government thievery keeps people on their toes and makes them appreciate wot they've got.

Going a bit to the right also stops too many lefty loonies getting in and enabling stuff like no smoking in bars and branding blacks as disabled people who need a patronising white middle class crutch to get through life.

It seems the public is contrary this bailout and thus why Im thinking some of the top players possibly want or need the system to tank. That way, not only will the public finally will accept a bailout, they will demand and applaud it.

Its kind of what happened when the federal reserve was created. The people demanded the govt do something to stop the boom and bust cycles and thus the fed was formed...again the bankers power was increased and consolidated.

Does constricting liquidity while at the same time begging for $700b worth of liquidity from the people you're scaring the shit out of count as creating a crisis?

not enough crumbs will filter down to the little guy in this situation

its just giving money to losing companies to survive for a bit longer....its not fixing anything....just adding more bad debt which is the problem to begin with....they digging their own grave in order to try to buy themselves a little more time

eventually the average joes life will be greatly affected and will get pissed off
