this episode from yesterday was the first that I really enjoyed this season... The cat and mouse shit between Dexter and the ?russian? guy is a good deal.

I laughed my ass off when Debra Morgan was swearing by herself in the elevator, and she calls Dex a "fuck-nugget." Something about it just totally
cracked me up.

I'm torn about this season. I love the fact that Deb knows Dexter's secret and is coming around to accepting it, but I hate the whole "Russian mob" story line. Seems so contrived, although I agree with celticGreen that the cat and mouse game was pretty awesome last episode.

I also like how the writers led everyone to believe that Louis Greene was going to be a major part of the story only to suddenly put a bullet in his head.

I thinked the whole Bay Area Butcher thing will be pinned on Louis. Especially with the whole video game thing that never panned out to anything last season. He already was attached to the maniquin hand from the icetruck killer and maybe the game will offer some clues that weren't public knowledge so it should make for an easy sell. Call me twisted but I just wish Dexter and Deb would fuck already. Who's with me?

+1 ...sick of seeing them dance around it

That was a cool moment, as I thought for sure he'd make it further into the season.

Yeah, that was pretty funny.

As far as your last question goes: NO

As for the rest, that's a pretty good extrapolation. Obviously LaGuerta (?) won't rest until they solve that blood slide mystery and really there isn't anyone else to pin it on but Green.

Louis did look a bit like dexter so that will help the cause but was he around when Rundy first showed up? I dont think he was.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think there was a full season between Lundy's last appearance and Green's first.

Finished the season last night, really enjoyed this season yet again but thought the last episode would be better with a bigger cliff hanger of some sort. Crazy how it all turned out but almost no way Dexter could avoid all that.

Non important side note I wouldn't consider Deb hot but I'd pound the shit out of her. When they did flashbacks Deb used to be pretty homely and looks much better now with a tan and filled out a little. Great little body...

I'm guessing one more season and they call it quits (maybe that's already been announced). But I thought they might run out of stuff a couple seasons ago and still running strong.

I think all the actors are under contract for 2 more seasons.

One good thing about this show is that it's not easy to figure out. My extrapolations as to how the season would play out were way off base.

I'm glad the Russian mob story didn't turn out to be as bad as I feared.

The whole incest thing was kind of creepy.

Agree with Season 4. Lithgow was awesome.

Watching the last episode made me realize what a great character Dokes was, though I hated him at the time.

The whole incest thing was kind of creepy.

Yeah, I'm glad they didn't go too deep into that story line. I think there was some push back from the fans when that started being alluded to.

Rewatching this show for the 1st time since the ending. Wow, best series to have the crappiest ending that I've ever seen... watching season 6 and even though is not one of the best, well, is not bad either but, season 7 and the incest crap really spiraled the show down into infamous levels IMO.
Favorite seasons have to be 2 and 4.

Doakes and Lyla we amazing characters. Trinity the best villain that the series had.
