Anyone else here watch Dexter?

I recently discovered this show and have been catching up via NetFlix. I just finished the 1st episode of the 4th season.

Holy shit this show is awesome. I don't remember ever watching a TV show and being so emotionally invested in the main character. Every time something happens that puts him in danger of getting caught, I literally get butterflies in my stomach. That's never happened to me before.

I had to take a break before starting the next episode because he's in deep shit right now...

I have watched all of them in order from season one on. I agree, it's incredible. A lot of threads on this actually.

Wasn't a fan of season two ending though, but still great.

Only watched one season of it, don't have show time anymore, think it was the third season. But it was a very good show, one the best I've seen.

While I haven't watched this show I have to say that shows can appear better than they are when you watch it all at once like you're doing.

That's the only way I do it now. My work schedule doesn't allow me to be home on a regular basis. That and too many times I've started to like a show only to have it cancelled early on me. This way I can wait until a show has a few seasons under it's belt and has established itself as being a good show.

Hate her. Does she have to fuck every single guy that looks at her? That and the crooked mouth Katie Holmes style of delivering her lines really annoys me.

Outside of Dexter and his family, the only other character that I care about is Batista.

The people he kills are people you want dead. He has a code taught to him by his father where he only kills the dregs of society like killers who got off, child molesters, etc.

I wanted to say this same thing! I actually typed it but I didn't wantt o spoil it for anyone...

100% agree he should still be around. feel like showtime didn't think this show would make it.. killing him was VERY premature... and his sister can almost ruin the show

I love the show. I wasn't a fan how this season ended though. Spoilers don't scroll down...























Dexter's sister letting Dexter and Lumen get away with their act of vigilante goes outside of what she has been preaching all series long as a being a good cop. Then all of a sudden as she has them almost face to face she just changes her tune in the heat of the moment and allows them to clean up and escape.

So Dexter altered the blood sample taken from Quinn's shoes so it wouldn't match up with the dead cops blood. Okay good but that shouldn't eliminate Quinn from being a suspect. All of the calls made between Quinn and the dead cop makes him still a prime suspect. Also all of the police equipment was checked out under Quinn's name what was his answer for that?

Plus Lumen basically used Dexter to do her bidding. After Dexter takes out all of the dudes that imprisioned her she all of sudden can't live with anymore killing. Pretty convenient of her to realize that after Dexter risked his life, family, freedom and career to do her bidding.

its a great show, sergeant dokes is a great character and I his sister is fugly and her body is terrible!!! my least favorite is his wife she annoys the crap out of me she s always so emotional just the way she talks annoys me shes so soft spoken all the time....

That's actually a great point although this show would be great even without doing that.

Lumen (can't think of the actresses name) I've always found her plain and borderline ugly. But after she gets cleaned up she actually isn't half bad, pretty decent looking. I'd hit it

seems interesting, i was going to check it out on showtime a few weeks ago but hate getting into something halfway through....probly do it like i did the sopranos, just wait for it to get close to being done and then go on a binge....i hate waiting for a week between episodes, and i hate getting into something only to be forced to wait 2 damn years for the last 6 episodes
