First of all, if the republicans were still in the majority you could guarantee that Rove would never have been subpoenaed and that there would be no investigation of the politicization of the Justice department. Secondly, I'm not sure how much Pelosi has to do with this. It's being driven by the House Judiciary committee and its chairman, John Conyers.

You can fully expect that a contempt of Congress charge is in the works. The entity that would prosecute such a charge is the DOJ. The DOJ is politicized and will do nothing (at least until they are replaced). As with the contempt charges for Harriet Miers and Josh Bolton, the committee will have to file it case with the Washington, D.C. courts.

These people (Miers, Bolton, Rove) refuse to show up because the telling the truth would bring down the administration and land them all in jail. If they show up and lie, they will go to jail for perjury. The thing they learned from Iran-Contra was never let them get you under oath. Their claims of executive privilege is completely bogus and if one is to make this claim, one needs to show up, get sworn in, and make the claim.

The House judiciary committee has a number of items on their plate and they're trying to move this along while getting information from witnesses. They have Rove and the others on the defensive and they will eventually be found guilty of at least contempt and probably more. The stonewall tactics of Rove, Miers, Bolton, and their lawyers are just delaying the inevitable.

I think you're assessment a little unfair and like I already mentioned, none of this would be happening it the Republicans still had the committee chairmanship (and it would be partisan politicas not to do so).

The generic picture you paint is pretty much spot on. The only person I control is myself and sometimes I don’t do a very good job. As for being a slave, I guess I don’t really mind all that much. I lead a normal middle class life style and I don’t aspire to anything more. I have no debt, no wolves at the door, I’m not losing my house. I lived through Carter and survived. I’ll manage what ever life throws at me. I’ve done it before and I’ll do it again. As for destroying the illuminati, that’s your mission if you choose to except it. Pissing into the wind isn’t a fun thing.

Fair to say I'm a little disgusted with government right now. Partisan bickering, lack of honesty, gotcha politics, perception over substance and they don't address one single issue that needs to be addressed.

term limits please, we're not capable of doing it at the booths.

Terms limits are a must. I was watching C-Span last night and to see someone like Senator Robert Byrd from West Virginia barely be able to speak b/c he is 91 years old, not to mention he has been a Senator since 1959, just reiterates this point. Then there is the cronyism that goes on, particularly between politicians that have been in office since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. And why the f'ck should someone like Sen. Ted Stevens from Alaska have so much power at 85 f'cking years old. Alaska is lucky to be a state and have any say, let alone send some old f'cking goat to Washington and dictate legislation.
