fish, whats going on with that avatar?! i was in complete shock when i saw it. that nyy logo really puts me in a crappy mood.

I believe that is how the town came into existance in the 1800's right??

Can one still tour the mine??

YES a lift takes you down about 1500 feet to the mine and then the tour is about 1 hr...they have everything at the mine complete with a old mine train to ride when you get to the bottom of the mineshaft
