we should plan a mini-bash in NOLA around labor day...though I think labor day wknd is always Southern Decadence-which would actually be perfect timing for this crew!

Chop, got any good hotel recommendations? Was looking at coming out 4/30-5/3 but Harrah's is sold out on 5/1 and 5/2.

I tend to disagree, blue/black jeans, white shirt, leather jacket/vest and aviator sunglasses is the real deal, add a cowboy hat if you fancy... Chris Ferguson style

The French Quarter is so overpriced.
If you are willing to drive 10 or 15 mins to the casino from your hotel you can save a fortune.
I can't answer your question without knowing how important being within walking distance of the casino is to you.

If its not that important you may want to google hotels in Metairie and Gretna Louisiana.
Those are only 10 or 15 mins from the hotel and only cost about 20% what you are going to pay in the French Quarter.

You can't post him up in the westbank.
Warehouse district should be good.

The Westbank and Gretna is basically the same thing.
Gretna is just a little bit closer though.

Yeah I would be driving from here, so I'll have a car. Walking distance to casino is nice but not required. I will look around in Gretna. Thanks.
