500 bucks is ridiculous. hold on, if you wait 2 weeks you can get it for 800. too many other touts out there that charge less and hit a good percentage.

This is no disrespect to anyone who has or still does purchase picks....but I learned a long time ago thet anyone of us in this room can be as successful as Diz was last year...does it take a little bit of luck, sure...

I purchased picks about 5 years ago from a "tout no longer in the biz...

In the first week...

So after the first two weeks I really started to put some coin on some plays....here are the next 3 weeks...

and they finished at about 45% for the season...and I lost my ass...~~:<<

if folks don't mind doing some homework, they can use the archives on here to go back and look at every football play posted last season and compile a record, and by doing this see for themselves which cappers had solid years. i just wish they would allow me to go as far as as 2006 so i could see who's done well consistently. paying for picks is fine, but i think if you're gonna invest that much money to get that man's plays, you need to have the discipline to play those exclusively. if you pay 500 bucks to get a few plays a week from a guy, then turn around and follow half a dozen others, you're just throwing your money away IMO. plus, you have to look at the size of the bets you make. to pay 500 bucks, and assume you hit 60% through the whole season, and say you get 5 picks a week over 12 weeks (using cfb as my example here) you would go 36-24 during the course of the season. at 36 wins at $100 a bet you would make $3240 (assuming -110 vig), and lose $2400 and show a profit of $820. subtract from that the 500 for the service, and you would have a net gain of $320.

most people would say that assuming a 60% win rate is being optimistic.

not necessarily. if my minimum bet was $250 a game, i might consider it. of course at 500 a pop -- or in 2 weeks 800 a pop -- all it would take is 100 people to jump on board and he's got 50k....considering all the gamblers who use the internet, i would say that maybe we're the ones smoking crack for not trying it ourselves.!~~~!

I know the kid is good and had a great season but to give him $500 up front! He attends school, outside interests, and MOST LIKELY WILL NEVER HAVE A SEASON LIKE HE DID LAST YEAR. I for one will pass but GL to em!

Let Him charge by the month like the rest of the TOUTS
