Anybody tired of these books being 'one cent' off continually on your balances?

So I log back into one of my accounts that recently went bust (thank you and fuck you to Tim Kennedy) and I now magically have one cent in my account!

lol

I completed my screen shots a few days ago..... "zeros" across the board. And now it's at a cent.

The wagers were settled a couple days ago and the balance went to zero in that account.... and now, a few days later, magically there is a cent.

Lol. bastards. Love the book, but that's not funny.

Pretty sure they did that on purpose. Funny joke if you think about it. Good to know they read the forums.

Annoying.

I know some books round everything in their favor, although some houses use actual cents.

If I'm using a house that rounds a $ 150 -1.05 wager to $ 158.00 instead of $ 157.50, I won't wager $ 150. Instead I'll wager $ 140 or $ 160

This might be slightly off topic but does anybody else ensure that their balance is always at an even number? Like if it's 4589.77, I'll wager to ensure it closes at 4400 that day. If I win, I go to the casino and play a few hands till I lose or win a few bucks until it's at an even number. OCD.

Well if you think a penny or two is bad......... try this one

You have a bet at -120 $6,000 to win $4999.80 20 cents short of the payout.

You're thinking no way but it's true.

Intertops is where it happened. I stopped playing there and am super happy at Bookmaker where I can bet much more and no wagers returns short.

Oh, that's funny. Check one of my books that busted out in and purposely left balance at 0.00. Log in today and out of the blue..... balance is one fucking cent.

No big deal but whatever the fuck happened to an exact fucking balance?

This is a new one. The 'ending' balance for the day is correct. However, throughout the day there will be one cent added... then later subtracted. The final result is correct, though.

That is all that matters, IMO. The new thing, though, is this:

Pending Balance $0.01 on 0 bet(s)

Wake up after all the wagers settled last night and the final number registered.... and one cent has disappeared upon waking up.

"Here you are, sir. I hope you enjoyed your steak dinner." -- the waiter.

Lowers glasses a little on the bridge of his nose and looks down at the bill. $42.88 is the tally. He hands the waiter his credit card and says "Thank you".

Upon walking out the door the waiter runs after the man and reaches him in the parking lot. "Sir, sir. Excuse me, but you owe one cent. $42.89 is the total."

"What?"

"Well, sir, if books can do it, we can, too."

"Waiter, your name isn't 'vitterd', is it?"

Waiter: "Why yes, yes it is." And the waiter proceeded to throw himself into oncoming traffic on the adjacent street.

how about the books who used to keep all the cents..
thats right they rounded everything down. $1.43 paid $1.00, and $1.99 paid $1

I've heard of that.

Also heard there were some that would round off of the 4 or 5..... so you could actually micro-profit if you made your bets accordingly.

That's messed up. In Vegas they do round to the nearest nickel (5cents) sometimes in you favor if it 3 cents an sometimes against you if its 2 cents or less. Vegas doesnt deal with pennies.

Good post. That is why I'm always extra cautious with this shit. When I've zero'd out an account (ie, read 'lost') I always make sure it goes to exactly 0.00. Get me annoyed when I log back in later and magically there is one cent in the account.

I've noticed it but never really thought much of it. It does seem like the office space scam lol.

Those extra dollars and cents add up over time.
