Anybody else hate the mlb extra inning rule

The bring in a pitcher they must face three batters is more upsetting to me. Baseball is like a chess match and they are screwing it up.

Yes this is worse .
Especially if a pitcher ends an inning facing one guy then is forced to go out there the next inning just because he did not face 3 hitters.

Then he faces the next 2 guys then gets pulled in the middle of the inning making the game longer then it would have been before the rule was implemented which was the whole purpose of the rule to begin with which was to make the game shorter .

Not only does this rule not make games shorter they make them longer

Honestly I love the MLB extra inning rule .
It absolutely beats the shit out of the NFL overtime rule .

People want to complain about a fair system to determine a winner but don’t think twice about how inadequate and unfair NFL overtime is

I’ve learned I’m not near the purists I thought I was .
I was always anti DH , got a taste of it last season and I find myself missing it this year and can’t wait for it to return to the NL.

Thought I would hate the extra inning thing .

Actually I ended up loving it .

Its 100% fair and brings strategy into play that was never imagined .

Well OT is not a good thing for any under better in any sport.

I don’t think accounting for OT in any sport should be a factor when you making wagers .

Its much more possible for a MLB game to still go under with the new extra inning rule then it is for an NBA game to go under when you add 5 mins to the game

Yea but teams are scoring a ton of runs in extra innings with this new rule. It's definitely worse for under betters than the old rule.


And it turns extra innings into a circus and a coin flip. Way more luck than anything else now in extra innings.
