can you imagine if one of your family member knew the winner. 1 of the the guys in charge of adding the votes. or maybe the 1 who writes the envelopes w/ the winners on.

i think this is the reason of limits maybe

but it would be nice

Lakerfan - Very nice, Tim Robbins gets the Oscar, and you get the dough.

I saw Mystic River, but the best movie in my opinion was Cold Mountain, which was not even nominated!

Are there any books that are taking Oscar bets up until the nominations are being read in each category? It shouldn't be a problem to have somebody actually watch the broadcast to give post time take downs like a sporting event.

Olympic has already taken down all there Oscar odds where I have my early bets.

For those who wagered on LOTR to win best picture just a reminder no fantasy film has ever won in this category, so you have the odds against you for a high price you're laying

So far it has won every Oscar it has been up for. I am coming to the party late on LOTR, but even I just took some contracts at WSEX. I think this kind of support further indicates it will win.

I would like to see LOTR win, but i wouldn't be surprised if Mystic River or Lost In Translation would win in that order. By the way Catherine Zeta-Jones looked stunning

Chalkman, WSEX has interactives up on the bigger categories all the way up until they are announced. Actor, Actress, Director, and Picture left.

Thanks wil. Now I have to make sure I don't give most of it back. Just gave about 1/8th of it back when Aghadsahoo. But I can't complain.

. What was the cap on wagering on the best picture prop? Whoever won the best actress award did she cry?

No cap at WSEX, but you could just buy 20 shares at a time.

A good night for me. Despite betting much less than last year I actually won more. Congrats to everyone else who had winners.
