My first impression is that I don't like it.

I tried to bet Boston for the 1st 5 innings at -110, it told me the line had changed, I refreshed it tried a few times, still -110, and not bettable.

I gave up and bet under 9.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

i cant place a bet, keeps telling me line has changed, please refresh. LINE HASNT FREAKIN CHANGED!!!

I tried the new site, it failed, so I bet it on the old site. I tried.

So far, I have to say the new new site is flawed.

having not really explored anything just initial reaction i prefer the old format. the old format was similar to some other books out there so it was easy to transition from one to another. the new interface is different then the other books ive used so its kinda like reinventing the wheel. with due time i guess youll get use to it but if something is fine the way it is why bother getting used to something new? i dont handle change well though so it may just be me. ill report back once i get busy with things tonight

anyone getting the line change/refresh error on anything aside from bases ?

All other sports worked for me..

Lets keep in mind this is beta..there are going to be errors...thats the reason they just didnt go live...imagine if they did the first weekend of NFL/College combined.

So far this is kind of like "New Coke", but that's why they want us to test drive it.

One feature that 5Dimes has should be copied by other books. They let you make IF bets off of previously made bets ( if not reduced vig), after the original bet was made.

For example if you bet Toronto over 4.5 runs, and they get 5 runs of Mitre in the 1st inning, you could then go back and if bet off of that on something later, and know you have action ( barring a rainout), or chance it if not already a winner.

I know of no other book where you can put in an IF bet, unless you do it at the same time as the 1st bet.

I'm sorry to say that I see nothing extraordinary with this new Phoenix software, but it of course still is buggy.

Phoenix is overall pretty good, their MLB dimeline breaks pretty low at around -135, but at least they have have -105 lines on a fair amount of stuff like NFL,NBA, etc.

I consider them to be a book that I'd recommend. I'd call them top 5, for American players.

I never was able to do it at Betjam, off a bet I placed earlier, are you saying you can do that ?

I'm saying I can bet a 7pm MLB game at 5D, then bet a 8PM game at 7:30pm, off of that ticket. As in not at the same time.
