(Rob, if the write-ups make it harder for you to track, i can remove them)

23rd June, 2007
Los Angeles Dodgers @2.16 over Tampa Bay Devil Rays 2units

Taking the Dodgers tonight simply because they are hitting well at the moment, and the odds shows that either Dodgers aren't getting enough respect or Scott Kazmir's getting way too much respect, Kazmir is like a lefty Daniel Cabrera, great stuff but wild at times, he is going to face a team that are hitting well, @2.16 seems slightly high for the Dodgers. If i could get the -1.5 Dodgers odds slightly higher than @2.81 i would have a nibble at that as well. Wolf has not been playing the best of late, he must contribute more than 5/6 innings a game, (5.25 inning pitched in the last 4 games) he has to throw more strikes, keep the number of walks to a minimum, easier said than done, but playing against a team who hasn't seen him in a while certainly helps.

Cincinnati Reds @2.51 over Seattle Mariners 1unit

I have not seen Jarrod Washburn this short in a long long time. Are the reds that bad or Lohse this bad? probably both. But when neither Washburn (WHIP 1.38) and Lohse (WHIP 1.40) are pitching well at the moment, why not go for a team that are hitting better of late?

G/L!

New York Mets -1.5 @2.35 over Oakland A's 1.5units

John Maine's stats have been somewhat misleading, he walked 34 batters in 61 innings in April/May, but was able to keep the bats reasonably quiet, in June gave up a bit more hits but has found better control than the first two months. I have often rate control over hits allowed. Hopefully Maine could keep the Mets in the game. Reyes and Wright have been good against lefty, as a matter of fact this Mets have always been strong against lefties.

New York Yankees/San Francisco Giants Over 10.5 @2.51 1.5units
Moose can only go for about 5 inningish these days, with the bullpens tired after yesterday, that could help the run productions.

Boston Red Sox/San Diego Padres Over 8 @2.68 1.5units
Both Beckett and Peavy are big time pitchers, but the total is just a bit too low.

Great pitching by Josh Beckett to earn him his 11th win today. The all star race is probably between him and CC now, i am sure Lackey will has his say about that though the schedule is against the Angels's stud.

Philadelphia Phillies -1 @2.02 over Cincinnati Reds 2units

Cleveland Indians @2.06 over Oakland A's 2units

Texas Rangers/Detroit Tigers Under 10.5 @9.43 2units

San Francisco Giants @1.82 over San Diego Padres 2units

After giving up 6 ERs in each of the two outings on the road, I look for Zito to rebound against the offensively challenged San Diego lineups.
