So,even if masks did work in the way some claim they wouldn't keep youfrom getting sick but prevent you from getting other sick

I'm not ignorant at all. I live in the north and every winter of my life I had a cold, sniffles or even the flu a dozens of times. Since this pandemic started in 2019 I've had to wear a mask in public and I can honestly tell you I haven't been sick. Fist time ever in my life I haven't been sick for three years in row because everyone wore a mask. Everyone I talk to says the same thing. We all hope masks are mandatory in public forever.
