Urgent Action

These were the Democrats whose immigration actions showed the most compassion for unemployed Americans. Thank them.
I will soon be sending you an email with the top grades for Republicans for protecting American jobs and wages from unfair immigration labor competition.
Today, the spotlight is on the Democratic champions.
With the baseball post-season in full swing, let's just say that these eight U.S. Representatives are the ACES of the Democratic team in Congress when it comes to giving priority to American workers over illegal foreign workers and over bringing in new immigrant workers.
All of them got an A-grade on our immigration report cards over the last four years. That means every -- or almost every -- action they took on immigration was designed to reduce illegal immigration or reduce unnecessary legal immigrant worker importation during a time when 20 million Americans can't find a full-time job.
Praise the Champions
SEND FREE FAXES TO ALL DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS TO IMITATE JOBS-FIRST ACTIONS OF THE '8 ACES'
All of you who go to your NumbersUSA Action Board will find a fax to send to Pres. Obama letting him know that it is not too late to adopt the policies of the "8 Aces" who make unemployed Americans the priority when it comes to immigration decisions.
Most of you will also find faxes to send with the same message if you have a Democratic Member of the House or Senate.
And some of you will be able to send faxes to the "8 Aces" to thank them directly.

I want to say a few more words about the "8 Aces."
Their concern for protecting unemployed Americans from unfair competition from federal immigration policies apparently is not dictated by regional issues. Most regions of the country are represented in this group: Northeast, Midwest, West, Plains and South.
Unlike most Members of Congress, including the leaders of their own Party, these U.S. Representatives saw the reports that 7 million illegal aliens hold U.S. jobs and tried to do something to get them out of those jobs so that unemployed Americans could take them.
These "8 Aces" also looked at reports that 20 million Americans who want a full-time job can't find one and supported efforts to reduce the 1 million permanent work permits that our government issues each year to new immigrants.
If the majority of Congress had acted as responsibly as these eight Democrats, millions of unemployed Americans would be working today, paying taxes and using fewer government services.
At the end of a Congress in which Republican leaders of the House and Democratic leaders of the Senate did everything they could to protect illegal foreign workers and the businesses who insist on immigrant labor over American labor, this is a good time to properly thank the politicians who tried to stand up to their leaders.
Today, we thank the top Democrats. Next, I'll send you an alert on the top Republicans.
THANKS FOR YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT,
