some halftime notes:barry this isn't a wrestling match, quit trying to pull shoulders....absolutely no help for rooney....nani is thee most annoying player in the world..he has NEVER done one thing wrong....micha richards is w/o a doubt one of the fastest defenders in the world...and i continually am impressed w/chris smalling at right back for utd.....this has to be mancini's wet dream at half...red crowd is awful quiet....do not feel in the least at ease about this final verdict...would not mind to seeing aguero taken off for dzeko, he still doesn't seem over his injury in full...but we all know aguero will prolly be taken off for kolarov or zabaleta!!!

emm...crickets at old trafford.....just shows u can't play a man down at this level...diminished this game mightily...final score doesn't officially give city rights to anything...and that's coming from a huge blue supporter...if city win at chelsea than i do believe this is a TRUE BLUE season..til that moment i will hold my tongue....today was spectacular no doubt.....ps. how evra managed to not get red carded is beyond me....as i write this, this is getting embarrassing...6-1..cmon...even mancini now is off the bench to call off the dogs

it will be a sad day for me when Man City signs Van Persie for 33 million pounds...i always like seeing utd get trashed - can't wait to see the highlights...

but i'd take wolves midweek in the carling...city has major depth problems.

Haha...j/k...congrats

he ruined any chance of competitive football between the 2 sides right after half...beyond me what he was thinking..balotelli wasn't even going in the proper direction at that point....i am sure he is hearing it from every angle...

Tevez in the news...

Tevez threatening to sue Mancini
26 October 2011

Carlos Tevez is reportedly considering launching legal action against Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini for defamation.

City announced on Tuesday that they had found the Argentine striker guilty of misconduct by refusing to play in their Champions League match against Bayern Munich on September 27, and fined him four weeks' wages - believed to be around one million pounds.

Mancini said after the 2-0 defeat in Munich that Tevez had refused to come on as a substitute in the match, claims later refuted by the striker, who said he was merely conveying to his boss that he did not need to warm up.

Tevez, who has 14 days to respond to City's fine, continues to stick to that line and the BBC has reported he is considering legal action because Mancini's post-match comments were defamatory to his character.

Corinthians seek Tevez bargain
26 October 2011

Corinthians president Andres Sanchez says that Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez is on the verge of rejoining the Brazilian giants at cut price.

Sanchez claims that Tevez's new transfer value must reflect the controversies that have beset the Argentine in the last two months.

Corinthians have been long-term admirers of their former player and attempted to sign him in the recent transfer window before being deterred by a large transfer fee.

With relations having disintegrated between Tevez and City after the Argentine allegedly refused to come off the bench against Bayern Munich, Corinthians have redoubled their efforts to sign the marquee striker.

And Sanchez believes that this time they have a chance to buy Tevez for far less than the 40 million euros City recently sought for the player.

"Tevez has one foot in Corinthians, even if a lot of people don't believe it," Sanchez told reporters.

"He is not worth 40 million euros. Now you would pay around 18m euros after all the trouble he has faced in England."

there was definitely a hangover from the utd and midweek clash with wolves....no doubt...was good to get over there for the match in a balmy 60 degrees heat wave!!!hahaha... and come back to this BS in nyc....shoulda stayed...took a freaking red eye to catch one of my fillies running at belmont today to find out they cancelled the card...pathetic...seems as if the ref yesterday didn't get the memo that this was the league where the big boys play and not the minnows....this kid looked like he thought he was reffing a sunday morning bar league....the call on kompany was legit..unfortunately that was the only call i thought he got correct...there were some real aggressive fouls to be played on and some tic-tac ones that got whistled or carded...he must have got his license from the howard webb school of refereeing.....i guess it's good to be back home...manchester is still a dump!!!..the stadium is even more incredible than what i remember from last year..always a good vibe there...and was good to see my bro even if it is once every year or so....cheers

looks like mario and kun will be up front today....think milner is getting a nod today over piss-ant aj....took city -145 yesterday and taking another piece of -150 as well, today...city are starting to grasp the cl idea finally...you don't show up and win automatically like has been the case in the epl this year....fulham comes to mind when i think of citehs performances thus far in the cl....by the way both those bets are for the limit....u can say i really, really like the blue part of manchester today...even if it is away in spain....cheers....
