i'm sure city have seen united play away in CL enough to know what to do...play conservatively for 0-0 or 1-1 on road and slap teams around at home. The home result sort of screwed that up a bit but I expect a careful match from them in Munich who are on a 9 match unbeaten run without conceding. Guessing 1-1 myself

united a ton of missings but shouldn't have a problem witch FCB despite going with Valencia at RFB and starting who the hell knows up front (owen/berbatov?). Nani on a big roll right now and will lead them to a win 2-0
nani is on another planet right now..never imagined he would turn out to be as good as he is...wish he didn't complain so much...but u could say that about every footballer i guess

united very hot right now, but missing a couple of key players, like roll said. the click between midfield and attack will be not so smooth as always, because rooney very often gets the ball, while owen and berba wait for the right pass to finish it off. think they will shut basel out to be honest, and score 1-2 goals, so i'll gladly take the under 3 @ +money.

about the city game, i dont know what to think. first of all bayern is a train that goes past every team just like that, they are really clicking, especially at home. city has the offense to score, so my thoughts are they will start on an average tactic, not too defensive, while bayern will do the same. looks to me like it could be an easy over, once the early goal falls in the net.

what do you think about the early game, cska moscow - inter milan? the convidence they got from the first win after ranieri's appointment isnt near the top yet, but it gave them a boost for sure. after the first loss against trabzon they cant lose another one, and the experienced ranieri knows it. sneijder is out, stankovic is out, forlan doesnt play, big names that are missing. cska is missing their star keeper akinfeev and honda cos of an injury. think inter pk is a solid pick right here.

just got in to see 3-2 scoreline coming down to the end of that inter match...wow...would not have thought that to be a score?...as for city today...great news that lescott is not starting...kolo is taking his place which is an upgrade even it is in the slightest....what i do like about that is that the toure bros. will sure up the middle in a yaya/dejong kind of way...of course with clichy and richards as the left and right fullback/winger? position the toure bros. better be in sync against bayerns counter attack....lil shocked that balotelli didn't even make the squad and tevez is?....i guess i will have to trust mancini when he says he came to germany to win(can't believe i am typing this!)...cuz this is his most attacking side(of course if he played all 4 forwards, that be a different story...but that would be silly)..anyway, i still believe in a higher scoring affair than most...and will be pulling for the blue half of manchester as always...but won't be suprised at yet another draw..cheers

i know somehow this is a pro-MC thread, but something about bayern...forget their firepower. everybody is talking about that and it s on a level with MC, but their real strength this season is the defense. they have conceided only one goal so far in league (in the first match) and none in ECL....therefore the under is definetely a possibility here. especially as i think MC will play a bit caitious in important away game. they have not really overpowered Napoli in first match..it s not a mediocre EPL team they are facing today and they know it.
i see two szenarios here...if there is no early goal (first 20 min) this could very well go under as for both teams it might be more important not to loose than to win...i can only see it going over if somebod scores early..that will open up space which both teams are able to exploit...maybe a live bet after first minutes on the total is the right thing to do here.

hey, i gave total props to their defense and keeper a few spots above...i totally agree....as a matter of fact the reason i see a 2-2 type draw is the fact that neither defense has seen this type of offense...of course this is gambling so anything can and usually does happen....of course i would also love to see a 4-4 draw....in my dreams!!!....good on ya to all...

interesting so far...two clear penalties could have alreadybe enough for the over...now it s bayern like in bundesliga...scoring from nothing and being mega effective...could be a fun second half if mc can score, but it will be tough for them...let s see and enjoy

back from the pub...couldn't take all the razzing from the utd. fans celebrating wellbeck scoring twice in a minute...yeah...wasn't a pleasant 45 mins...a whole lot quieter in my house...maybe city can give some more touches to micah down the right wing...that's where munich seem most vulnerable...and thank god boateng went back to germany...he is what i always thought...just dreadful...i won't cry foul over those 2 possible pk...same for the ribery cry for pk...i say let them play unless it's clearly blatant...all 3 could be argued either way...sets up for a wide open 2nd half....now let's see what city have inside them....sweet as

brother just sent me an email from airport....it was one word and it read like this ANARCHY!!!.....he is referring to the state of city's team as of the moment...dzeko is not speaking to mancini...and the 3 argentines are bandied together....how in the hell do you refuse to go into a game when called upon?...utterly ridiculous....and if you needed any more ammo against this coach...his quote of hart letting the 2nd goal in b4 half was "it was over at that point"....and as i totally knew it while it was happening, in his post game report he stated he brought dejong in for dzeko as to not let in a 3rd goal...so let me get this strait...1st sub is to not let a 3rd goal in..but 2nd sub is to bring on tevez to score goals and save day?.....can u understand this madness?....in summation fuck the both of them....mancini and tevez can both go get fucked....apparently asst. coach platt tried cooling everyone out in the locker room to no avail..this whole team is in a state of chaos...just wonderful..well, at least we still have the carling cup and balotelli!!! hahaha

so y'all know i am not insane here's the quote that still racks my brain 3 hrs later...Mancini said: "After we conceded the first goal we should have paid more attention - we conceded a stupid goal. When they scored the second goal, the game was finished. So, why come out for the 2nd half....that's my last question til saturday morning when we take on blackburn....can not wait to see that lineup....

agreed his english is terrible...and as much as i never wanted him as coach and i want him gone as soon as possible...as least he took english lessons and continues to do so twice a week...that twat tevez has been in the country over 5 years and knows cuss words...he's a real scholar, let me tell you.....good riddance to both...watching the press conference of mancini made me sick....i even felt bad the for him the first 5 minutes and then his mouth got him in trouble by saying next time dzeko can sit next to him on the bench cuz he wasn't performing up to roberto's standards....and defending bringing in dejong for him so as not to concede another goal...then backing that with wanting to bring tevez on...just an endless circle of insanity...next few games will be very telling of whether this team shows any pulse/heart or fizzles into obscurity
