Dial Squares...props...you guys kicked our ass...u should have won 4 or 5-0 today..talked to my brother this evening and told him i am not coming at the end of the month...he can take my ticket and shove it up mancini's ass when he sees him tomorrow...not that he will do it but also told him if he could put a word in with the sheiks at the next accounting meeting to keep anything affiliated with italy away from the etihad..FOREVER!!!...with horse racing season getting into full tilt i have watched my last game and bet my last game of the season on this charade of a squad...feel like i went on a date with a whore and got a peck on the cheek at the end of the night w/this club...give me 20 guys like zabs, richards, kompany..guys that play all out that might not have the talent of a balotelli but at least have a fucking head on their shoulders and i can live with it...this group of players fucking dogged it today....'the wop' is a coward...the two italians can have each other..leave england...

very sad to see Mancini rip apart Balotelli in the news today. while everything he said is 100% correct it is HIS fault, not Balotelli's, that Mario will likely be suspended for the rest of the season. Clearly MB is not in control of his emotions and it was evident that a red card was coming only 15' into the match. The fact that he put his trust into a complete lunatic instead of bringing on Dzeko at HT is indicative of his terrible decision making all season. The fact is he has the best talent in the league, perhaps 3rd most talent of any football club in the world, but he's clearly unable to manage this level of talent. His place should be at Chievo or Marseille, not City.

I really don't know what was more predictable...the Tevez/Balotelli saga destroying their title hopes or Balotelli getting sent off yesterday?

btw, hopefully he gives Kompany the rest of the season off as that guy busts his ass but is clearly injured. He rushed him back for Sunderland which was a massive mistake then yesterday had no prayer of marking AVP. He really could have led directly to 3-4 Arsenal goals off top of my head...one being the clear penalty where he was on wrong side of AVB, second being the header AVP put off post when Kompany lost him, and third being the damn close offside call when Kompany stepped up in last second because he had again failed to mark his man.

I'm sure Mancini won't do the right thing and rest him for next year but he should

you know i hate man utd more than life itself but one thing they always have is very little drama on and off the pitch. The only real drama is the 15 penalties and the 5+ min stoppage time when they are down a goal ref's give them. But it seems other than Paul Scholes' face there is never any problems internally. Either it is kept away or i just ignore anything written about that club. But you cannot win at the highest level if there is off pitch troubles...

my smallest wager is on blackburn today - pretty good home form and although 3 losses 2 on the road vs relegated clubs and 1 home vs United. They recently beat QPR and Sunderland and drew Aston at home. Liverpool is as bad as all those clubs. DNB pays +150ish and that is good enough for me. Blackburn still fighting for something and liverpool just collected pay cheques...just like round one.

Think I agree with you dial squares, I think liverpool will also play a pretty sketchy lineup with their fa cup semi coming up on the weekend.

well as Liverpool have shown it's not always how much money you spend but WHAT you spend it on that is important. They tossed out $110M on Downing, Carroll, and Henderson for this season

Downing 0g, 0a (and chosen over Ashley Young)
Henderson 1g, 1a
Carroll 3g, 1a (at least he's brought some fun to us Liverpool haters...)

Liverpool to erect statue of Andy Carroll as a replacement for Andy Carroll

Liverpool have announced that they will attempt to increase Andy Carroll’s goals to game ratio by replacing him with an Andy Carroll statue that will be situated in the Anfield car park.

The striker, who moved to Liverpool from Newcastle for a fee of £35m in January 2011, currently weighs in with an average of 0.17 goals per game, and manager Kenny Dalglish is hopeful that this would be bettered by an inanimate object several hundred feet away from the pitch.

“I think a statue of Andy positioned away from where the game is being played would be able to impose itself on the action much more effectively,” revealed Dalglish.

“Andy needs to get himself in the right areas at the right time, and based on his performances over the last year, the right area for him to be is not on the pitch, and the right time is when a game is being played.”

just when you think the league is done united lose to wigan...crazy....villa can definitely take a point in manchester and we could have a great end to the year. I laughed at the 5 mins of stoppage time.....man u down - 5 mins stoppage.....i've never see it otherwise except that time it was 8 mins of stoppage time. Or 5 mins given with 3 extra played.....

seriously wtf do you want? 6 changes made, a goal scored, figueroa down for 3' like he was shot in the back of the fn head? No handball called when 99% of the time that thing is whistled? yet it is always some united conspiracy?

never been more disappointed in a team than i was in united today but to read DS' bullshit brings it up a level. get a fn grip

certainly think the chase is back on. now just wish we'd get to beat arsenal by a half dozen again

u can't think the chase is back on seriously?...even if we beat you..where else are losing points....?....yer gonna dismantle villa this weekend...everton's head quite rite might not be in the game v. utd if they beat liverpool in fa semis....the rest of the teams are already making golf plans..it's yours...unfortunately

united HC vs villa will be my EPL GOY...will put up a preview

yeah, i do believe chase is on because if you win h2h we're talking a 2 point differential with City back in the GD lead. Sunderland is always a giant pain in the ass for us away....hell, home or away. If Everton advance on Saturday then I agree they will be meat but if they lose then both them and Sunderland pressing for Europe.

After today's United performance I wouldn't trust us at Doncaster but I sure wouldn't want to be Villa Sunday morning

sundy have an outside shot at europe..really only one spot to vie for since spurs chelsea, newcstle battling for 4th spot..in cl...gotta believe everton take last europe spot..but i get yer drift...i am going to have to see it to believe it...like i said, todays win and utd's loss didn't get me all moist and warm....more like a dicktease...knowing who utd still have to play...-378 seems like steal right now at pinny v. villa...would not want to b villa in the least...pending city result sat...might have to put a big # on the over as well...

thoughts on norwich +1.25? only spurs have beaten them by more than a goal at home and city haven't scored more than 1 away goal in last 10 league trips. norwich came out this week that their goal is to finish above liverpool so perhaps a bit of something to play for, even if made up

norwich are playing well, no doubt..but city are a different level no matter where the match...that being said, city are an enigma,,,i have given up figuring this team w/this nut in charge...if i were still capping the city team i thought i knew, the next possible slip would be up in the northeast to newcastle(no offense to utd...i just think city are better than them)of course, i haven't a clue what to expect anymore...so, fuck, go for it...yer getting $ at home w/a decent squad...but i am done wagering on this crew til next year...and as stupid as it sounds(and it's ridiculous, believe me)i am working on an email to my bro of who should stay/go and asking him to print it out and "accidentally" drop it in the hallways of carrington...hahaha...i shit u not....with pro's and cons....and the sick part is, he is bent enough to just do it
