according to twitter Man city: Hart, Richards, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Barry, de Jong, A. Johnson, Milner, Balotelli, Aguero -- dzeko, worst player in the EPL Nasri and Canadian turncoat Horriblegraves on the bench

Liverpool: : Reina, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Kelly, Downing, Henderson, Gerrard, Spearing, Bellamy, Carroll. Subs: Doni, Enrique, Coates, Kuyt, Carragher, Adam, Shelvey

tough one being a cup - FT score probably the wise play and shoot for the moon...no bet for me ... i'm cheering for Crystal Palace :)

no heart to fight back though - perhaps city players just think the refs have it in for them..new money always has trouble with refs vs the so-called established sides like liverworst and man utd. I've seen a penalty called often enough on the play though. 1-0 down so early in a two leg game i would have though city would have faught harder to at least tie it...i did miss chunks of the game though so perhaps chances happened while i was away.

city full squad can definitely rescue the tie in liverpool

was one of the most ho-hum games of recent memory...reminded me of a few seasons back circa the mark hughes into mancini season when this team with all this talent would sleep walk thru games...this is the first season i haven't seen that...til yesterday...talk about a squad that couldn't care any less to be playing in the carling cup semis...que sera....we'll see what happens in liverpool in 2 weeks....still big on city v. wigan monday

have city at 4-9 odds for 2500...and 4-1 final at 18-1 odds...wigan can not and will not compete with this city squad...they are off to the championship and then league 1 where they belong....them being in the premiership is an insult to football...don't worry about whatever line up city put out...they will get it done

agree with you 100%. when Wigan played United not so long ago they were in shock and awe...can't say that I've ever seen that in EPL even with Derby. It's really as if they took the field just trying to avoid an 8-0 defeat which they did, luckily. And, that was when Wigan was in decent form gaining 9 points in previous 6 games. Now they are back to being completely in a funk with just one miracle draw in past 3 games, dumped out of FA by Swindon, and an actual winnable game on tap Saturday.

I say they lay down and lose this 0-3

i'd hate to jinx you with a bold prediction but 4-1 might be generous...i could see a lot of frustration being taking out today vs wigan....sunderland beat wigan 4-1 and they are terrible. Funny enough liverpool and chelski could not get a win in wigan but the Arsenal won 4-0. Perhaps just a 2-0 straight win but i do agree with the pounding idea.

definitely agree with u and agree with u even more that it is not about Man City its about Wigan the relegation-like terrible play that wigan brings on a day to day basis; next, is it M/L -252 or -1 1/2 +111 fully think that citeh cover the one n a half but????????

-1' should be gold today...i expect nothing but vengeance from todays squad....i almost want to throw another hundy down on 6-0@90-1...the goal differential with utd is starting to creep closer...

The Citizens are in some kind of mini turmoil. I'm not excited about the fact that they managed only one win in their last five games in all competitions. However, Mancini has an opportunity to get his boys fired up today. Wigan should stick to their usual 3-4-3 and tacticaly using this formation vs. City tonight will cost Wigan dearly. 3-0 or 3-1 for City is my prediction.

I will be with you on this wager. C U at the window!!!!

so silly that money city are going to squabble about a price on this guy. just take the 20 mil and move on...surprised they were even offered that much considering everyone knows it's a buyer's market when it comes to tevez

Inter Milan's bid of just over 20 million pounds for Carlos Tevez has reportedly fallen short of Manchester City's valuation of the forward.

The Argentine has had a potential move to Serie A champions AC Milan fall through, and City boss Roberto Mancini wants Tevez out on a permanent deal.

Inter have offered the English Premier League leaders 20.7 million pounds for Tevez, but it reportedly does not meet City's valuation of the 27-year-old.

roll i will tell you strait from the horses mouth...he is being punished...flat out...city won't move on the $ issue over tevez...it's that simple....unfortunately with the loss of the toure bros. and recent nagging injuries city might have to budge in order to spend on some back ups...it's clearly an issue at the moment that city is lacking some depth

Well the goal posts and opposing keeper once again keeps City on the edge of their seats. I still think they are in some sort of internal crisis. Not putting away weaker teams has to have Mancini concerned since the only silverware left is winning the Premiership.

Rolltide has a point.....move on and sell him.

my take on it is probably yours...just because he doesn't want to act like an adult doesn't mean you stoop to his level. Take the $30 mil USD, cut ties, go separate ways. They already lost approx 10 mil euro on his summer value and if you can get him all the way to Italy just do it

some nice saves by the Wigan keeper today...probably should have been more like 3-1 city but a win is a win. Not City's best performance but I'm glad it stayed close as Wigan expended a lot of energy and now have a short week for qpr

ok, first and foremost...a win is a win no matter how disgusting and upsetting...so we pick up 24hundy on the win and loss on the exotic..then factor in the nickel we dropped at aqueduct today a nice profit of 19 hundy....that said...city are in trouble....one would think with a lineup doing nothing throughout the match that a competent coach would shake things up..of course, not.....we sub de jong for nasri?....and adam johnson gets subbed in extra time...???i give up with this fuckin dego/wop coach...he clearly has issues with the continuity of certain players....dzeko and aguero fall over each other...embarrassing comes to mind when i think back on that issue in the box towards the end of the match...i could go on...why bother?....getting bad vibes over the sky blue now...wigan are a disgrace....this should have been done and dusted at the half...never should have been a sweat....and one further thing....i make no qualms over how much i despise non attacking football...those that might ask what that is?...well look at the germans, dutch, english, even the spanish in recent years...not counter football ie, italian, french, greek....clichy and nasri are the biggest wastes of $ i believe city have ever spent...this includes the robinho disaster...at least he gave us somewhat of a season to remember...nasri isn't satisfied till he dribbles thru the defense, past the keeper and thru the back of the net..pleeeeeez,,,,,and if i see that french prick clichy try and cross one more ball from the corner w/o stopping it first i am going to vomit....his crosses always go out of bounds and look amateur....sickens me...ps. mancini has made de jong(once a formidable tough as nails midfielder) a pussy without playing time in lieu of nasri....good job

and now my favorite city player will be mia come the end of the season..partly his own doing but mostly the money spending ways of mancini...looks like nigel dejong won't be back...he refused a bump up to 100k a week from his 75k a week salary...don't know anyone in england about to pay this but it shall be interesting to say the least...sorry to see him go...yes, because he is dutch...but more so his toughness which i always felt was 2nd to none back from his ajax days....sad day indeed....

o2' -120 fer a dime...seeing a 2-2(11-1)draw... 3-1(12-1)city... 3-2(19-1)city...so taking a hundy each on those finals....i don't buy spurs...this league is all manchester....chelsea, gunners, liverpool are total frauds...liverpool should have their epl credentials taken away after that thing they put on the field today..even bolton are laughing at them

i would prefer a total bet over a side. I do agree tottenham are pretenders but this seems like a must win game for them and citeh run of games have been pretty poor. Alright for most teams but poor for them....you might get outcoached today. Yesterday was a great day for gunner fans but i fear oppertunity lost (yet again) vs united. Should be two decent games today to get ready for those other less important football matches.....i'll never cheer for spurs and a stretch to think arsenal can catch them but go City! .... danglish said he'll dump any player that doesn't give 100% --- i think 10 should go after yesterday
