I watched the DOW go from dow to 280 to down 500 in 5 MINS! I would say it is unbelievable-but it's not. There is no good news-CNBC is a joke

went to dr this afternoon....i hate afternoon appts.

if you are going to tip your hat, tip it to hitman as he has carved out a nice chunk of change from this move.

im glad to see this market drop 500 in a single day as its been 4 years since its even fallen 2% in a single day.

I only now realized that this product was available....QID. Ultra-inverse QQQ. Up roughly 7% today. Why short the QQQ anymore?

Sullivan, thanks for the info for I wasnt aware of this instrument.

Could be helpful since shorting qqqq must have an uptick and with this if one is bearish he would buy QID.

Ill look more into this and ask a few guys I respect their opinions about using it.

Nice original call on the decline Woof. Good ETF's for going short are:
QID - moves 2x the opposite of Nasdaq
SDS - moves 2x the opposite of S @ P
DXD - moves 2x the opposite of the Dow.

These are great stocks to go short. Great liquidity. ETF's that trade just like stocks. You will probably never want to short the QQQQ again. Best of luck.

Market looking wobbly again today and goog dropping like a brick.

If bulls think they are out of woods after tuesdays fall, they are incorrect.

The market remains bearish.

IMO, SSRI along with its competitors are being systematically manipulated and sold off during this "flight to safety" correction when the dollar is continuing to get weaker by day. It seems this downturn of mining stocks and the dollar are correllated at this time.
The materials sector in general is being sold off due to our deflating economy.

Goog through yesterdays lows...next stop is below 400.

SSRI and any other stock can be sold to raise capital as alot of people and funds are buying stocks on margin and most people sell their winners and keep their losers (which is wrong way to trade) when put on margin call.

Gold and silver stocks should be held during consolidations and if someone wants to enter the sector or add to current positions that should also be done during consolidations.
