Bengals lost some key defensive players down the stretch last year which stalled their momentum...It wasn't all Dalton

True although I was not putting it squarely on him as the reason why they lost. I don't trust them collectively just yet come playoff time.

Why would you come in here and post that? RT is right on his assessment. No reason for that type of statement.

RT takes cheap shots at me in several threads but I never see you in there asking him why.

Never seen it, but this particular thread it seemed out of line. Isn't really that much of a heated debate on this......at least for the name calling. Probably a time and place for it tho.

I hear most of the incentives on the contract are if he decides to show up and win a playoff game

The contract language reads that Dalton will be paid as more or less an average QB for the first 3 seasons. Contract ONLY hits max pay out if Dalton leads Bengals to multiple playoff games, this contract is loaded with concessions for Dalton but he has to hit those. In addition Cincy has right to cut and run after the first 3 seasons. Contract actually works good for both Bengals and Dalton since he has to perform well to get to the high end of the contract.

I still maintain. Cincy will regret this because they will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, make the playoffs this year.
