Well, with the composition of the team, I'm giving us no more than a month to hit. Like I mentioned above, I say we pay out half and use the other half to increase the wager amount. I've never lost money doing this, my out-of-pocket is 12-14 hundred for the season, and I haven't failed to recoup that because we normally hit around 4 times. But I've typically kept the wager to 10 bucks, sometimes 20, and when we hit one, 20 will be the minimum play so tonight would have been a little over 8600 payout on a winner. Makes a big difference. We gotta do some thinking about FF plays. That's two pars this week killed from losing FF plays right out the gate. I'm not hammering CBB, but Philly is in one hell of a funk to score runs. Yep, Adleman is as bad as it gets, but the MoFo has a shutout going into the 8th inning. That's how bad Philly's batting is, not how good Adleman is. I just hate pars going down the tubes before half the games even pitch, not fair to all. This has to evolve and we need to fine tune as we go. I'm not attacking players, never will, but we need to learn from mistakes and I think FF plays might be a mistake in this format.

Well, Boston about to slit the hog, one of the few games going the way I thought. Fish were my play and there's a murder in progress in Miami, but not a damn total I looked at is doing it's thing. I'm gonna start hitting the under in my over plays, LOL. I got some more stuff in the mailbag tonight about our favorite subject, damn Fool harped CARA again, I don't get those guys, other than they.....listen to this....I agreed to extend one of my subscriptions with them and they somehow billed me not once, not twice, but yep, three times. Gonna cancel the whole damn thing.

They have their place in one spot imo, ya got a great starter with a horrible BP, AND, hitting is relatively equal between the two teams or favors the great starter's side. Both FF this week, the one tonight and the one earlier in the week both included Philly (I gotta go back and review all the cards this week, but tonight is a given, we all know). I know why CBB put that play out, you'd have to be an idiot not to realize his rational. But there's two variables in the equation, and while Adelman is horrible pitcher, Philly is just as horrible batting, no debating that fact. Personally, and I wanted this from the first day I started doing this, if someone opposes a play and has a damn good reason, I want to hear it. Someone questions my play, the last thing I'm gonna do is crawl in a hole or tell the player to go phuck himself. OK, you don't like my play, it's not cast in stone, why is it not a good play, i.e. doesn't have a better chance of winning than losing. I've been "selling" most of my life, I've been told "no" several thousand times. Doesn't hurt my feelings, makes me work smarter. We'll entertain FF plays for now, but I'm gonna scrutinize them for reasons given above and a few others.
