it's more ignorance than brainwashing. hell even medical doctors don't take a single class on nutrition because med schools are heavily funded by Big Ag and Big Pharma and nobody wants to know that Big Ag is selling food to Americans (with a USDA stamp) that are totally illegal in almost every other nation.
