Because for one cops risk their lives for their job. Meaning they get paid to do their job. It's part of what can happen on the job. They signed up for it knowing it's a realization. It's sad but true. They get paid. Citizens are not getting paid (most of the time) to shootout with the cops.....shit happens in order for them to survive and try to make a better life for themselves or attempting to do illegial activity in order to move out of the ghetto.

I get outraged at anyone who abuses their power. You guys think I don't like cops. You should hear me talk about teachers, principles, administrations. I especially don't like anyone who is in a public service role and fucking with the public in a negative way. I don't give a shit if you're orange purple blue pink. I got a problem with authority being abusive. THAT is my beef. Always has been always will be.

Wow.

That's some real dumb-ening type shit

You're missing the point. I can put myself in other people's shoes. It isn't hard. Whether or not someone died isn't what I'm saying. I can emphasize for anyone who lost their life. That's easy to do. But to listen to people from where they are coming from and try to relate or empathize to their situation is something completely different.

Your not putting yourself in the cops shoes only the criminals. You say people from the ghetto do something out of survival and give excuses for their actions. Your friend shakes when he gets pulled over so you sympathize with him. But when a cop acts out of fear based on a ghetto which you describe as anything for survival you say it’s unjustified. You aren’t seeing it from both sides like you think you are. Your clearly not seeing the fear from the perspective of the police officer. Beyond that you don’t see officers as human beings. You see them a sacrificial lambs to the system. Your saying they sign up for the danger yet disregard the fact that the danger only exists based on the people you make excuses for.

I have empathy for cops who are killed. The people who did it are still pieces of shit. I'm not saying they aren't.

But they are professionals and they get paid. The training needs to be better. The communication needs to be better all around. From dispatch to officer from officer to suspect.

I respect officers until I am disrespected. Which happens pretty quickly because they mostly all are smart asses or wannanbe hot shot cops.

What statistic out there indicates to you the training needs to be better? 23 black men have been killed this year by cops most of which were justified.

I think what needs to get better is people being good at life. Like getting jobs and to quit committing crimes. How about that?

Well there are far less black people to kill or to kill you. Lol so I would expect white people to die more because uhm white is the majority in this country. Blacks kill officers because far more black people are sectioned off to the ghetto....where the strong survives and anyone can get their shit taken. You need to realize that in the ghetto the police are not the same police they are in the counties. They operate wayyyyyyy differently. Gangs put hits on certain cops for their role in the activities. Not just for doing their jobs. Also, sometimes it's accident. They might shoot an undercover cop, thinking it's not a cop.

NY city cop's in the 80's were as corrupt as any gang member. And in the cities...that still goes on. Why? Because there is nobody's daddy they got to worry about. In the county you're fucking with people who have money.

Ok using your "logic" then why are more blacks not killed than whites by cops, considering black people kill more cops because they're forced to survive in the ghetto?

You base that kind of statistic on nothing. Some are bad sure but 95% (which I completely made up) wake up in the morning looking to do good things.

This is an example of why Sterling Brown was tased and what officers have to think about walking into any almost any situation. Brown's an NBA athlete making millions, how hard is it to follow a cops directions and how hard is it not to be an asshole and park sideways in two handicap spots?

I hope all you cop hating assholes watch the video posted by CoolBreeze. Then come back in here and dis cops. You are clueless and pathetic citizens.

Cops aren't in a laboratory. They are in situations that can turn bad real fast. They have the right to protect themselves and us, the good citizens.

As far as I'm concerned if a cop tells you to do something and you don't do it, he should have the right to shoot your sorry ass.

Every situation is different. Brown wasn't walking away from officers trying to hide something. He was right in front of them facing them talking to them!!!! This guy was doing absolutely none of that.

It's a bit different when you are actually having a conversation with about 5 cops surrounding you and they still need to tase you when you are on the ground with 5 cops around you they still tase you. Thats a biggggg difference from what this video shows, they aren't even in the same ball park.

Brown said he had stuff in his hands. Meaning...how can he reach in his pocket for a gun when his hands are full? It's just comes down to common sense.

If dude is walking away with his back to you....failing to follow directions over and over. Then tase his fucking ass.

It's that simple. You don't tase someone who is on the ground when you have 5 cops to help you. Why do you think those cops got in trouble? Because common sense lol. Obviously excessive force. 1 vs 1 and the suspect isn't listening? ??? TASE HIM. Easy. It's like the cops do the wrong shit in the right situations and do the right things in the wrong situations. Use your brain.

Not sure why you always single out one situation in which the cops were definitely in the wrong but refuse to acknowledge the thousands of times daily they do it the right way? Why is that?
