Well, I don't agree with what he did, but at least he stayed here in the U.S. and took whatever was thrown at him. Plenty of white kids fled to Canada to avoid being drafted.

Also, regarding Trump, big deal, any kid who was in college at the time or had the connections to avoid being drafted did. I'm sure there were exceptions, but I'm assuming most who could get a deferment did so.
