I liked the Steelers and the Colts - but not because they were the favorites, or because the line looked easy. Of course the public is going to bet on the Patriots and Colts - and to be honest, if we were all taking the Pats and Colts, Cowboys, and Steelers all season long, we'd be up a few units.
The best you can do is cap a game yourself, see what you come up with, if it's some system you came up with, or just a solid general feel for the game. Each one can be argued either way. Even the best cappers I know lose 30-40% of the time...

They do everything well, and that's always a solid bet over a team that does a couple things well. However, for a team whose quarterback went down early, I think the Jags actually played pretty well. They'll be in the playoffs, I believe.

I've been betting around 4 years. I always said that my new way of betting was such and such record. I remember when you came onto this site. You were nearly booted a shit load of times. I have had enough winning seasons to know that I'm decent at this. The home dog thing is somthing that was explained to me and I liked it. It has had a long time of good results, not by me but by others. That is how I know it will win long term. Because it already has.
