BP - I would really like to get your opinion on this paper...not so much the author's conclusion because his conclusion is quite wrong, but nevertheless you tell me what you mine out of this paper.

This comment in response to the Yahoo article nails it.
I think that, regardless of it's efficacy in treating covid, the continual drumbeat in the media classifying it as a "horse drug" should be enough to raise an eyebrow. Other than propaganda purposes, why would it be necessary to ignore the facts it that, not only is ivermectin not used solely in horses, but it's even more commonly used in heartworm medications for dogs, earned it's inventor a Nobel Prize and has been administered to people in the hundreds of millions for parasitic and viral maladies? It may not work as a treatment for covid, but why not just say that instead of creating a misleading narrative around it. That alone is enough to feed suspicion and mistrust. And those are precisely the things that the pandemic has lain bare.

yep.... everyone that even opens an article which portrays IVM as the "horse drug" deserves the propaganda being driven into their piss-ant brains. Nearly a BILLION PEOPLE have taken the drug and approx 90 million per year take it for a wide variety of ailments and preventative measures.

The drug should be administered within 24 hours of the first symptoms, prophylactically would be best
Most Covid symptoms resolve in 7 to 10 days....if not the chance of hospitalization skyrockets.
This drug is a viral replication inhibitor....meaning its stops the virus from growing and overburdening the immune system.
EVEN with all the bullshit designed to fail study, IVM STILL outperformed placebo.
Just another garbage lie to dispute the potential life saving blockbuster drug we have.
