If Texas finishes second in the polls then that is a slap in the face to college football. Barely got by the second best team in the Big 10, while USC dominated a superior PSU from the get go. Utah finished undefeated and walked all over one of the SEC's best. Still got Oklahoma to go, but if they play the kind of football that Texas Tech played against a middle of the pack SEC team against Florida, no Big 12 team will finish number 1 or 2 I assure you.

For a team that dominated Penn St they were 1 red Zone play in 4 tries from winning by like 6 points at the end..Penn St should have cashed that cover..JMHO

I'm right here. Texas will be ranked #2. And for the dumbasses calling Ohio State's defense "awful", they were ranked 10th in the nation. Wanna rephrase? A win's a win. Texas deserves the Nat'l title, along w/ USC, Florida and Utah. Gotta love this college game.

That game was over in the 4th quarter. 38-14 with 10 minutes to go in the game. SC stopped playing.

Ohio State only got the at large berth because of the name and because of how well they traveled, not their body of work. How else could the BCS let an undefeated Boise State team (who I'm glad didn't play because they would have gotten embarrassed) from playing in the Fiesta Bowl?

Btw...to reiterate, the ending (moreso 4th quarter) of the OSU/Tex game was an entirely diff ball game. I started this thread midway throught the 3rd. I fell asleep after the 1st and woke up at halftime. Both teams looked like absolute dogshit. Now as for the fireworks in the 4th, the Longhorns clearly deserved the win. And a story book finish it was. Didn't have money on the game but i was rootin for lil McCoy. I had soft spot for that kid after the devistating loss to TT. Kid took the loss with class and seems to be a class act all the way around. Matter of fact, I wouldn'tve been surprised if Texas had one more possession they would scored right back at em.

Great win for Texas. With that said, I was really disappointed to see Texas struggle with OSU in the 1H. Thats the same defense USC toyed with back in September and the same one the vaunted Nittnay Lions struggled with at the end of year. I'd be willin to lay money if SC plays OSU again the outcome would be the same. They don't have the speed laterally or vertically to contend with SC's track meet on offense. And once SC expolits a wound they unzip the 20 pound bag of salt on it turning a 3 pt game into a 24 pt game within minutes.
