Are you sure the fixed odds that you are talking about are for the regular season or just exhibition? Exhibition is always fixed odds. Intertops and 5dimes show listed pitchers for the regular season.

This change has needed to happen for quite some time. It benefits the player (sharp player) more so than it does the book imo. Those saying they can't wrap their mind around not adjusting the odds think of it this way. If you bet the pats -7 on Thursday and brady gets scratched they don't change your odds to -4. Its the same concept. A bet is a bet.

Guys that really aren't gonna like it are the ones that lay -300 on every ace every time he takes the mound.

I remember when Intertops didnt list pitchers, I know they got burned a few times when there were pitching changes and they didn't adjust the price quick enough. I know I caught them.
