HI BERNIE,

AGREED...ARE YOU POSTING YOUR MARCH MADNESS TIPS THIS YR?

OBVIOUSLY..Mich st os a different team with Appling and Payne healthy. Payne looked like a beast this past week, also with Va and Villanova #1, #2 seeds, this brackett is very weak..either Va or Mich st looks good..Who knows in the midwest..Zona should have not much of a problem im the west..Fraking Wisky isn't evena top 10 team and they got a#2 seed and 2 early basically home games

Hi METFAN

Hope all is well...One thing people have to realize, when Michigan State had those injuries this year they just became a DEEPER team once they became healthy, similar to last years Louisville team. Remember the NCAA champion has to be built to WIN 6 GAMES STRAIGHT!!! Now Michigan State which was once ranked #1 this year has not only the starters and coaching to go deep but they also have depth now. They have to be respected.

Seriously I'm not sure at all what the committee was looking at with their seeding. My numbers which have been solid all year make no sense with the committee's seeding. Hmmmm, Wisky a #2 seed and Michigan State a #4 seed is a JOKE!!! Kansas without their big man a #2 seed and Louisville a #4 seed and Michigan State a #4 seed makes no sense. Villanova a #2 seed, that gets drilled twice by Creighton and upset in their tourney, is definitely whacked. There are at least a half dozen other ridiculous seedlings. I could go on and on

in the end from seeds #1 thru seeds #4 still should rule the tournament

it should be fun....

P.S. As far as Villanova is concerned I've heard some whackos saying UWM has a chance. I've seen three UWM games in person and I saw Villanova/Marquette in person and if Villanova plays up to their potential they blow UWM out by more than 20

Haven't seen the Futures yet, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Michigan State favored to go to the Final 4 in their bracket despite being a #4 seed which really means they shouldn't be a #4 seed no matter what happens to them in the tournament....As far as winning it all that's a whole different ballgame so it is surprising that many picked them to win it all, especially with Izzo's history where he has 6 Final 4 Appearances, but only 1 Title....After making Final 4 those six times, four times they lost and did not make the title game and as I said only once did they win it all out of those six appearances.

All the experts picked Louisville to win it all last year and Kentucky to win it all the year before. Granted those were both #1 seeds, but they did get the champion right.

I dont know if MSU can win it all but I see them in the Final Four coming out of that region.

Oh -- the game on March 9th that OSU shot 31 FT's compared to the 10 FT's that MSU shot?? They won by 2 on their home court, on Senior day. Boy, that's really taking it to them!

Oh im sorry, homer.. still sour about that one I see. Senior day doesn't mean shit!! Typical homer blaming a loss on the refs. hahaha. And that was to Ohio st. Goodluck against UVA.

Not sour at all. Just stated a fact about your stupid comment about OSU taking it to them. I think maybe you are smoking a little too much MedicalMaryJ during your off time, because you must have been high to make that comment!

Sparty does have the huge benefit of playing in a weak bracket, at least up to the Final 4........Does anyone really fear Virginia or Villanova in a tournament game? I mean, come on now..............Even Iowa State is a more of a threat than those two.

WELL SEASONED you make a very valid point

METFAN---I bet two teams to win it all this year a month ago. I bet Florida and Wichita State. Last year I bet Louisville a month before the tournament at 11-1. Let me say this will be a very difficult tournament to win and parity exists in college basketball this year like no other. I like Florida because they are well coached, great guard play with maybe the best point guard in the country, and they can go deep in their lineup. I like Wichita State because this team was there last year, had Louisville on the ropes in last years final four and are coming back this year more experienced. They are however in a bracket from hell but I didn't know that a month ago. Florida definitely has a do-able bracket though

hi SHOTDOCTOR...I would agree and did the same in the small pool, but in the big pool (over 400 entries 2 $350/per) ypu'll have over 50% taking MICH ST, FLA , OR LOUISVILLE..Also bonues for upsets..i have 2 entries, one with Florida and the other I'm going with Zona,i expect less people to take them and i did fla with alot of first round upsets to max bonus points.

thanks BERNIE, i respect your stuff, it's just hard for me to see someone coming out of that Bracket having a lot left in the finals.

Wich st reminds me of the Jameer Nelson st joes squad that got a one seed..Everyone called it a joke until they made the finals and lost steam..i just see any team that has to beat Kentucky/K st, proabably Louisville and MIch is going to be battered..no weak sisters there

wish i was heading to Mepmphis instead of the garden
