im about as close to done as i can be with the redskins. a team with a window to win would take a chance with an aging quarterback with something to prove and wants a shot at a title. the redskins simply arent in that position. cousins however still has plenty of time to develop and have a shot 3-4 years down the line. the redskins are always making moves that suggest they are 1 player away from a super bowl contender and they just arent. to give a second round pick and sign an aging qb to a 4 year deal is baffling. unless they get a running game and some quality recievers around him it will be the same story as grossman, mcnabb and brunell.

yeah their team just sucks.

Wonder what their win total will be, I'd guess 7 because at 7.5 I'd bet under. Might even be 6.5.

You can get him in 2nd round

It’s possible you can’t even get him with the 2nd pick.
His projections are all over the place.
Anywhere from #1 all the way to end of the first round .

But he’s not going 2nd round .

Chop's right. If Rosen, Allen, and Darnold all go in the top 5 you'd have to think the Jets would consider pulling the trigger at 6. Otherwise they're stuck rolling with McCown for another season unless they roll the dice with a guy like Bradford/Bridgewater/Tyrod Taylor.

1 thing about Cousins is it does seem nuts the Skins didn't just pay him 2 years ago. Solid QB's in their prime never hit the open market. Redskins pay everyone and haven't had much of a track record with QB's since Snyder owned the team so it is surprising they never committed to him.

So you do wonder if there is something wrong with him, he could be on the sauce.

The most likely explanation is that the Redskins are incompetent.

They got fleeced here.
