Somehow it works for Sanctuary Cities who go against Federal Law.... Seems some people would protect those illegally in the country, and could care less about babies

^^^^ this

Amazing how sanctuary cities break the law.......hypocritical liberal left.

Politics has the whole system complicated and why
imperfect guy was perfect for the job. Reading what your saying Enfuego is that a Federal decision isn't the final decision because States can change decide themselves? State/County/Local government... is enough.

Future odds same as Maximum Security declared Derby winner puff_>>
<strike></strike>

The Wests are gonna win that lawsuit.

As for abortion laws, it's a state's rights issue.

Then they can go across state lines. Otherwise its hangers and pliers in Cletus's garage.

Terminating an unwanted embryo within first nine to ten weeks is for most women possible at home by using a combination of pills that are increasingly easier to obtain.

Controlling female fertility options is a vital component to all fundamentalist theocracies. So it's certainly not shocking tocsee such efforts still being made against American females, most commonly in the deep South.

The legal battles are tedious to observe but a bit of solace can be found in knowing that the Western world at large is not actively expending resources on such nonsense.

What about rape victims?

Until the new law is overturned, rapists in Alabama will have full license to decide who will birth their babies

Such absurdity does at least produce more illiterate gems from the White House

"......unlike Democrats who encourage ripping a baby from the womb moments after birth..."

Nope, spit that baby out

probably the most fucked up law Ive ever seen - fucken Sharia law makes more sense than this

A while back there was a study of abortions in the state of MN, I'm guessing 20 years give or take 5 at this point

Out of some 10,000 to 15,000 abortions performed during their study, NONE were rape victims. Citing a tick on an elephant as a reason to put down the elephant makes no sense.

Rape victims needing abortions doesn't even rise to the standard of a fractional minority, it's virtually non existent. Horrible reason to justify abortions for all under any circumstances

Having said all that, if abortions are legal in the first trimester even that silly argument goes away

Curious how many times you've visited the state of Alabama.

I used to work in Bama about 10 days a year, audit engagement. Birmingham and Huntsville are two great cities.

Someday I plan on vacationing on the Redneck Riviera :)

Not a federal issue... Allow states to decide for themselves. If aborting a human is so important to an Alabamian they can move. States rights alive and well

States rights, hahahaha, and you were worried about my state of mind :)

So when brother gets sister pregnant, they can’t abort it and the baby grows up to be a Bama fan.

Oh wait, wrong thread :)

I wouldn't want to be the amateur performing that procedure given the possible penalties !

Crossing into a nearby state is the answer

Haha, sorry I offended your stupid ass. Like so many intellectually inferior people, you're not capable of respectful debate. Go fuck yourself, meant in the most respectful way possible, of course.

Alabama doctor vows to keep providing abortions when ban goes into effect

An Alabama doctor has vowed to keep providing abortions when the state’s near-total ban against the procedure goes into effect.

Dr. Yashica Robinson, who is the medical director of the Alabama Women’s Center for Reproductive Alternatives, said she “will not change my daily routine” when the legislation, which bans the procedure in nearly all cases, including rape and incest, starts being enforced in six months.

“Just as I have for the last 15 years of my medical career, I will continue to deliver babies, give prenatal care — and provide abortions,” Robinson wrote in a CNN op-epd.

Robinson said she’s enraged the bill which was signed into law Wednesday forces her and other doctors to “choose between what is ethically and medically appropriate care and breaking the law.”

“I am appalled that I could get a more severe penalty (up to 99 years in prison) for providing safe abortion care than someone who commits second-degree rape” Robinson said. “And I hate that I am being placed in the position of reassuring my patients that abortion is still legal today — and for the foreseeable future — despite the actions of politicians in Birmingham.”

The ban will likely lead to OB-GYNs choosing to practice in other states, leaving women in Alabama with inadequate care, according to Robinson.

“I am frightened for Alabamians because, should this law ever go into effect, doctors like me will leave Alabama rather than stay and practice substandard medicine,” she said.

I never understood why people think its Ok to abort/murder an unborn child, yet they think if someone walks up to them or a loved one, points a gun at the head & shoots them dead, its a violent crime......they're both wrong but they're hypocritical.
