Oregon is better than Ohio St .. They've already proved it..
They were better that day at the very beginning of the season, but no I don't think Oregon is better than Ohio State now. Buckeyes would be favored decently head-to-head, and should be.

Who cares if you would be favored ? You were favored last time , in your own building.. Ducks can control the game on the ground with the defense you put out. We win again imo. You didn't even get the chance to meet Mr. Theboduex in your backfield last game.

Buckeyes have improved a lot since then.

Ohio State would have the edge at QB, RB, and have the top 3 WR's in the game. They've also improved a bit defensively, especially against the run. Plus CJ Verdell wouldn't be playing.

Having Theboduex back would help Oregon, but Ohio State overall is still the better team at this point. Pretty sure he was playing against Stanford as well...

Ohio State lost its second game of the season back in 2014 at home against a crappy Virginia Tech team. They went on to win it all. Would Virginia Tech have beaten Ohio State if they played again later in the season?????

If Oregon's victory over OSU doesn't matter now because it was early in the season and many people think Ohio St would win right now.. Then why even play the game to begin with?

Of course it mattered. And it should. Oregon beat OSU heads up. In Columbus. No way OSU should be ranked ahead of them, all other things equal.

It's fine if Oregon is ranked ahead of them given they have 1 loss and the head to head win. I'm just saying Ohio State is the better team now.

On that note, why is Michigan ranked ahead of Michigan State?

Talking points is what I'm seeing here. Reality is Scoreboard. I like our chances against OSU.. 2-3 match-up is a possibility. You don't have the edge at QB.. take my chances going against a freshmen in a big game..Stroud makes more mistakes ..

That's stupid too. Both teams will probably play their way out and lose another game anyway. But to have Michigan ahead of MSU right now when they both have one loss is idiotic.

The "committee" is a joke.

You don't have the edge at QB..

Stroud: 68.8% completion rate, 3036 yards, 30 TDs, 5 INTs
Brown: 64.4% completion rate, 2030 yards, 12 TDs, 4 INTs

Stroud also playing in a tougher conference against way better defenses. Doesn't seem like he makes many more mistakes based on the stats.

I'll give you that Brown is the more mobile quarterback. But Stroud definitely better overall

There's a reason Stroud is second in the Heisman race right now, and Brown is not in it at all

Same players played in Sept with the exception of our two best defensive players that would be playing potentially in playoffs... You can talk about a better conference , I'm not so sure.. Our strength of schedule is better than Ohio St's at the moment.....We beat Ohio St on their field , and until you can beat us , posting that you're better , pretty much means nothing,.

Its Georgia and no one else.....same as LSU in 19 and Bama in 20. Georgia will cruise to the NC and hardly be tested

I tend to agree. But.. UGA has a history of choking vs Alabama. This will be a fun SEC championship game this year.

UGA does seem dominant like LSU was in 2019. LSU had the dominant offense, UGA now with the dominant defense. You just wonder if the QB position will at some point be a liablilty for the Bulldogs.
