Not speaking specifically to the stretch when GS erased the lead but in general the Warriors had "solved" how to attack him on D for the most part. He had a great series but they weren't winning that battle anymore, had to go small and matchup. It's tough when every single guy on GS can shoot and pass and Curry started playing better. Helped that Adams was getting hacked downlow and they were letting them play as well. Green and Iggy got a lot of leeway.Cleveland will try to beat golden state at their own game, playing small ball. Anyone remember who the MVP was last year? Not green, not Thompson, and not curry.... Kevin love will be huge if clevekand is to have any chance.
We we all saw what Lebron could do last year and still not win, I would only expect golden state to be better than last year as well.
Golden state got beat when Steven adams was on the floor, why Billy D went small and let them back in no one knows. But I bet cleveland just about forgets they have mozgov or whatever on their bench.
Mozgov had offseason knee surgery and just hasn't been the same player since. Last years version of him would've definitely would help them in this series, Bogut will have a much easier time with Thompson than he did with Adams. He is much smaller and doesn't really get off his feet that fast. Adams was a tough matchup for Bogut.
As far as Love goes, yeah he needs to dominate the smallball lineup but I don't see him being able to do much on Green. Just too tough of a matchup.
Actually think there is a reasonably good chance Love gets benched in this series since Frye has a quicker release than him and is better defensively.
