Im predicting 15-1 to 13-3
My bold prediction last year was the Saints would have a top 10 defense in 2013. One year after having statistically the worst defense in NFL history in 2012.
They finished 4th in total defense last season.
I predict it will be #1 this season.
But my official prediction is Saints at least 13-3 with a chance for perfection.

The NFL is so week to week.
Just 7 days ago the Cowboys were the favorites to represent the NFC in the Superbowl.
Now the Cowboys odds just 7 days later are twice as low as the Saints.
Once the Saints get done with this run they are about to go on against the 49ers, Bengals, and Ravens the Saints will be the #1 fav in the NFC.
Why in the fuck would I down play my prediction?
I still fully believe it.
And I only predicted the Saints to win the super bowl 1 time in all the years I have been here.
That was 2009.
How did that turn out?
Yea. It turned out OK.
So if they finish 12-4 or 11-5 and win the Super Bowl you consider that a bad prediction?
Thats a pretty strong statement coming from a 30% capper.
You could only dream of coming that close to getting something right.
Thats powerful coming from a guy that has to pick 10 games to get as many right as I get in 5 games.
Especially considering the fact that your super bowl prediction will have a top 5 pick in the draft.
And although the Saints will probably not come anywhere near the #1 ranked D. The D has finally come on the last 3 or 4 weeks.
They won't finish #1. Probably not even top 5.
But they do have a very good D.
Take away week 1 and week 4 and its been really solid.
But if you want to make a big deal about getting that one prediction wrong Im fine with that.

Yea I did.
But there are different levels of getting a prediction right or wrong.
If the Saints finish out strong its not like I completely blew the prediction.
I underestimated Drew Brees missing the entire preseason and his oblique injury.
It was clear the first 4 weeks he could not throw the ball more then 35 yards.
What can I say.
I was not a training camp.
This was info I had no knowledge of till the season started.
But if my prediction was correct now that all of that is out the way they should be able to have that type of season going forward.
And that is exactly what I'm predicting right now.
I think they will finish at least 11-5 if not 12-4.
If they stumble down the stretch from here on out then you can tell me I was wrong.
But hearing a 30% capper in week 9 that predicted the Redskins to win the super bowl tell me I was wrong on my prediction is comedy at its finest.
If you want to tell me I was wrong in week 17 if I in fact turn out to be wrong then fine.
But not in week 8 win you can't pick a winner if the game was a re run on ESPN classic and the team you picked to win the Super Bowl will be competing with the Raiders and Jags for the 1st pick of the draft.
Yes and its clear the Saints don't play as well with a hurt Drew Brees as they do with a healthy Drew Brees.
Amazing how that works.
Drew Brees was 100% damaged goods the first 4 games of the season.
It was the best kept secret in the NFL.
They even seriously considered sitting him out the first few games but Brees talked them out of it.
And even with a hurt Brees they were still only 3 plays away from starting 4-1.
